Zoo Marine was a brilliant place to visit on our holiday. Brilliant for the whole family. Lots to see and do from the animals to the water park. The whole place was clean, bilingual and you could see the animals were looked after very well. When I go back to Portugal I will definitely visit zoo marine again.
Absolutely loved it, our 2year old was overjoyed by the animal shows and the whole family loved all the attractions here. Highly recommended for taking the family, take your swimming gear and book a ticket in advance on the website. Food prices including drinks and ice creams, were very reasonable (about the same as a local shop in England) so it doesn't break the bank like most attraction parks do.
90 euro (e-ticket) entrance (2 adults + 2 children) worth every cent. Great shows and attractions for children under 12y. Very clean, good food and beverage prices. Friendly staff. Keep up the good work. 👍
The dolphin show is ridiculously good. The way the trainers interact and join in has to be seen to be believed. All the animal shows are good and kids of all ages will like them. In terms of the pools etc, all simple and fun. The pirate children's pool was really good fun, my kids loved it. There's some fun rides for young children. All in all, a good day out.
One of the best attractions we visited, think "mini Sea-World" and you won't be far wrong. Dolphin & Birds of Prey shows were good, parrots and seals less impressive. Food available is OK but we took a picnic on the second day. Well worth the two day trip.
We caught the tour bus to the zoomarine, arriving at 10:45, but were disappointed to find that we had to be back on the bus at 4pm. A quick visit to the dolphin desk and our bus back was moved back to 6pm :-) We enjoyed all of the shows. The only one we didn't manage to catch was the birds of prey. There are several feeding stations of the fish and turtles. Pay 1€ for a handful of food and you're set. We decided on the spot to participate in the dolphin experience, which as we were already in the park was cheaper than we'd seen advertised 110€ to participate and 2€ to watch. The dolphin team were very helpful and made the experience an absolute joy for both of us (the participant gets a free towel, flip flops and a drink after and the watcher gets a free drink). There's tonnes of information points as well as happy looking animals and very clean enclosures. Food wise the options are decent but prices do vary. We found that the tapas menu from the restaurant near the pool was the best value (potato wedges, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and chicken wings with either a large pop or a large beer for 8.50€ each). To enjoy all aspects of the park you either need to get there super early and leave at closing or do it over 2 days (at the moment they are offering the second day for 8€). The pool is quite extensive with a wave pool, water slides and children's play pool. Due to time constraints we have never been able to fully male use of the pool part of the park.
Brilliant day out, perfect timing for the shows, you have plenty of time to get from one to the other. The shows are very educational, all about protecting the environment etc. But sometimes you get more human acting than animals doing something. Prices inside for food are good too. Pool areas are great, some great looking slides and fun for the smallests. It would be better if they had at least the baby pool heated though.
We visited Zoomarine about a week ago. This was best experience that I ever had.It is a fun place for both children and adults. The best part was the dolphin show. You could see the dolphins and the crew's doing amazing tricks,in and outside of the pool/ocean. There is also a beautiful beach area where you can chill out and a wave pool you can have fun. Don't miss the 4D Movie show it's wonderful. Must visit if you have kids great place even food and drinks inside the park is reasonable price.
Water park, rides but also conservation centre. Dolphins, Seals, Sea Lions, Aquariums, Birds etc etc and my favourite, Rays. Open usually during End of March to Autumn. Could classed as quite pricey, but go online and you'll get better tickets prices. You have to pay extra for the Sun loungers and umbrellas but we've always had a good time.
This was a great venue. Enjoyed it a lot my wife visited the Dolphin Emotions event for a birthday present. The park is very clean and the staff very helpful. Although I am not 100% on board with performing animals those that were there seem well cared for. The Dolphin Emotions experience was well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone. The inland beach was awesome and I could have easily spent the whole day there. The eateries were reasonably priced, clean and efficient. This caters well for adults and children. Even visiting end of season the park still had a good atmosphere and remained well maintained.
This is a good day out, with fun rides and great facilities. I feel guilty though for going to watch these dolphins perform circus tricks, when really they shouldn't be doing so. Zoomarine would still be a great day out without the dolphin show. The pirate show was our highlight - no animals needed!
Highly recommended! The park is lovely and cheap to eat and the shows are fantastic! However, the sun loungers and shades are charged at 10 euros a day! You really need two days to see all the park so would highly recommend booking online before you go and getting the second day at a greatly reduced price.
A fun day out. The dolphin show was amazing and we enjoyed the other shows too. We went with a 7 year old, 5 year old and 1 year old and there was something for everyone. It was April when we went and wetsuits would have been a good idea, so we were only in the water for a short time. However this meant we went to quite a few shows and went on lots of rides - which there were never long queues for.
