Very pleasant to walk around, some slippy surfaces, lots of dogs off leads. Places for picnics, visitors centre for beverages and snacks, free parking (electric charging spots) . Small walk through woods, nature hunting for kids.

Fantastic place, lots of wildlife and lots of walks and cycling with a beautiful lake and when you have had enough of all of that you have a beach that stretches as far as you can see. A must place to visit.

Really nice park, great views of and around the lake. There is a little children's play park (swings etc...) near the main car park. The walks around the lake are fantastic on a nice sunny day There are plenty of parking points so you needn't park in the main car park. Take a packed lunch and/or plenty of food if you're gonna spend a whole/half day.

A firm favourite dog walk both around the lake and beach. Lake ideal for my dog as he loves swimming as are the huge sandy dunes to burn some of his everlasting energy. Lake walk pushchair friendly also.

A good place to spend a weekend. I like the place because it has done nice walking paths. Additionally if you are bored of spending time in the park, the beach is just next to it. The beach is nice and clean.

Lovely country park Quiet, undiscovered, beautiful park with lake in middle. About 5 miles circumference. Stepping stones, wooded areas, fields, all there. Views from top amazing, can see the sea at druridge bay and down the coast. Lots of car parking, free now. Visitors centre with Loos and refreshments, seating area outside in summer. Highly recommended.

Beautiful walk around the lake. Lots of opportunity to see wildlife. Many different birds feeding together. Good car parking. Benches along the way to sit and admire the view. Will definitely visit again

Wonderful place to walk your dog for mile. Choose between a beach walk with easy access or country walks around the large lake. Parking is free alday.
