Wonderful museum. It's very quaint and the personal guided tour makes for a great experience. The staff were very knowledgeable and very friendly. I can't say enough good things about it. It was my favorite museum in amsterdam, I highly recommend people drop by and check it out.

My boyfriend and I visited the Pipe Museum back in August this year. We weren't entirely sure what to expect, but we could not have asked for a better experience. The museum contains a collection of hundreds of smoking pipes collected throughout the entire world. Our tour guide started by showing us some of the earliest pipes created and progressed by following the spread of the tobacco plant throughout history. The tour was very informative, and it was absolutely fascinating to see the diversity in smoking pipes among different cultures. This museum provides an incredible look into history and cultural differences that relate to smoking tobacco.

Don’t waste your time with this place, the museum is just as trash as the owners attitude. This guy is a joke. Very hateful and rude as soon as we entered. We were more than willing to pay the admission fee, however we were nearly forced to leave by his nasty comments and out of place attitude. This place should be closed.

Terribly gross owner. Shouts to clients and gives aggressive responses. Yet the collection If worth a look 4 minutes if you can stand him.

Fantastic unique museum! The admission is €10 and well worth the price as the guide gives in depth knowledge of pipes and the history of the pipe. I am not a smoker but I enjoyed the art and designs of the work. The tour took 30-40 minutes roughly.

Very rude to a friend of mine when we entered. The museum may be good but the shop is run by a old crusty fart. Would not recommend. Oh if you do make sure you kiss his ring first or he gets mad you don't all come say hello to him personally

Absolutely fantastic experience. Both of the two gentlemen were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and up for a laugh. Fantastic tour through the history of pipes, from primitive all the way through to modern utencils. Definitely worth the trip! Also a grand selection of pipes and tobacco.

This place is a must see for pipesmokers, and of great interest to all tobacco hobbyists. The shop offers a large selection of both contemporary and old pipes for sale. And a selection of quality pipe tobacco, of course.
