Super. This little corner of the historic centre of Amsterdam it's great. Very cool. You can find here a little space full of peace and history in the middle of the red light district that's famous certainly not for his peacefulness

The most quiet and hidden place in the city centre. It is like a gated community, but very beautiful. You can also visit one of the churches.

I was so pleased to have found myself in there! You can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. A good fact to know about this place is that actual people live in those lovely houses and it’d be nice not to disturb their lives as nosy tourists. Just go, politely take pictures and behave respectfully. It’s a must-see place in the old town of Amsterdam. It shows that there are other parts to it and not just popular canals.

A really lovely peaceful bit of green amongst the ‘dam buzz, with gorgeous houses. You won’t need more than 5-10 minutes here, but best to go before 10:30am to avoid the huge tour groups which do take away the tranquility of the place.

Beautiful little haven. The Catholic church has some beautiful fresco's. It is hard to find. There is a door just past the book shops if you are using Google maps and can't understand why you are not there yet.

Lovely place to rest for a while. Nevertheless, I do not think it is an Amsterdam's must. There live people in houses around, could be a bit bothering for them I guess. If you are here, do not miss the opportinuty to see the oldest house in Holland.

Amazing secret spot in the heart of Amsterdam. It seems like you are outside the city, it's really calm and nice layout of the houses. You can find the oldest house built in the city and 2 churches, one of them is open to the public and it's really nice to visit. Please keep in mind to respect the neighbors of the area.

Beautiful little courtyard in the heart of the city. It's like stepping into another world. You have to go through a wooden door to get to it (closed at 5pm), which can be easy to miss. It's a very quiet, peaceful place to take a break from the city.

Unexpected gem in the middle of a busy area. Not much to actually do here but enjoy a brief moment of tranquillity before moving on again. It's a residential area so much if it us gated off but still viewable. A worthy little addition to a walk around this part of Amsterdam though

An interesting little place to visit, a bit of the beaten path. It has a beautiful little chapel and a decent giftshop, although the store had a little too much kitsch for my taste. Experience a bit of Catholic history in a Protestant town.

Very nice and small place with old buildings (conveniently most of them have their dates written on them, close to the top), worth taking a detour to see it and has quite a few nice shops and other places around.

Lovely part of town right in the heart of Amsterdam. It feels like entering a more peaceful world. The history is very interesting and seeing one of the oldest wooden houses in the country is quite a treat. Definitely a must stop by in Amsterdam.
