It was interesting to see this floating market. Basically all the stalls sell the exact same thing so it's kind of monotonous. However, the souvenirs all looked nice and it was cool to see all the different flowers. I actually was here to check out the cheese shops that line the street. So you can see pretty flowers while tasting some great cheese.

Way too touristic, doesn't feel authentic. Each seller is from another country so it is quite funny and proves my point about how this is a non-genuine adventure. Fake tulips and real tulip bulbs are good to be bought here if you want that. Choose the last stand with Italian owners for fake tulips that look the most realistic 😁

A nice street full of flowers- both bunches and seeds/ bulbs with travel permitted marks on them that could be purchased. Ideal place if you would like to buy some tulip bulbs if you want to grow them in your home country or here. Also has lots of small souvenirs that you could purchase. Pretty crowded but lot of options. There are famous cheese stores too on this street. There is a delft blue store close by for the famous porcelain cutlery that Amsterdam is popular for. Good street for some small shopping. Must visit if you are a tourist in Amsterdam.

I absolutely loved this market! They don't just sell flowers their is a verity of almost everything! Definitely worth seeing. Full of local people, food, cheeses. Proper Amsterdam culture 😋

Nice little site, and only a 15-20minute walk from Central station, so it's within easy reach, especially if you use the trams. Running along the edge of the river between 2 bridges, there are roughly 10 stalls or tents, for want of a better word. Reasonable selection of plants, particularly in regards to Tulips, obviously. Has been catered for the tourist market but worth a look if you have a spare hour or two.

This is an amazing place to visit. You could feel like spending all your money in buying flowers and plants from there. There are plenty shops where they sell different varieties of cheese. My kids enjoyed the tasting session and we bought variety of cheese from there. I went twice there to buy tulip bulbs as the variety of tulips they have is amazing. bonsai trees and variety of seeds make this market a unique one..I would definitely visit this place when I go to Amsterdam again

The floating flower market is a great free attraction in Amsterdam, the smell is amazing as is the selection of fresh cut and dried flowers. As well as the massive bulb and seed collections found here. Stall holders are not pushy and seem happy for people to slowly walk around selecting what they want. Obviously like the rest of Amsterdam it can be very busy, but by the time you walk here from central station you will already be used to the hustle and bustle of Europe's most amazing city.

Definitely one of the most enjoyable places in the city to just go for a stroll and relax with a good cup of coffee, tea or something to smoke. You’ll find a feast for the eyes and the nose. The smell is overpowering in all of the best ways. Look for the Venus flytraps!!

It's the Chinatown of Tulips! (and other flowers). Stall after stall is pretty much the same thing (with some exceptions). Word of caution: If you're planning to buy bulbs to take to the US or Canada, you will legally be required to declare them to customs, regardless if they are sold to you and stamped as "export friendly". And even if you do declare them, your chances of actually being allowed to bring them into the country are 80/20 in my experience (and usually entail a 30 minute or longer visit with the customs agents).

You definitely need to visit the flower boat market while in Amsterdam. Full of amazing, beautiful flowers. Majority is rainbow color tulips that you can plant in your garden. While walking, on the other side its full of cheese shops that you also need to visit.

Quiet block along the river with tent-covered stands selling flowers and other flower paraphernalia along with souvenirs and small candies. Much of the market is stroller / wheelchair friendly, though several adjacent shops have steps down below or up above street level. Would recommend for 1 hour long visit. Would be acceptable visit in rain only with raincoat / umbrella.

As a tourist, I thought this market was stunning. So many varieties of flowers, bulbs, seeds, and trinkets make this a nice walk and good souvenir stop. We were told there that export certificates are only done June-August, so we were unable to buy bulbs to take back to the US. We found some certified bulbs in the airport (in May), so I'm not sure about the info we got at the market. Nonetheless this is an amazing place to see in Amsterdam.

Neat little tourist-driven market with flowers, plants, seeds as well as cafes and delis. Be sure to step into some of the cheese stores as samples are on offer. Lots of souvenirs on offer but most of the shops are pretty much selling the same things.

It's always busy and crowded but it never disappoints. Before you buy your souvenirs in the Netherlands, make sure to check out the Flower market at first. There are so many different souvenirs to buy here. There are also a few places along the side of the street to sit and eat at. Make sure to go through all before buying, because the next store may have those magnets for a cheaper price. As always, watch out for pick-pockets. Amsterdam maybe a beautiful city, but it's also big and busy. Like any other tourist-attractive city, there are always pick-pockets everywhere.

A very nice place to shop for fresh flowers, tulip bulbs, the wooden tulips and various plants/seeds and also souvenirs. Its worth visiting if you are in Amsterdam. Wide variety to choose from. Has lot of eateried and restaurants nearby. Walk around to see what's interesting for you. Suggest comparing the price in multiple shops to see the best one. There may be better selections and prices in other stores.

It might have been my expectation but with a flower market you expect flowers and not flower seeds. Might have been the season (July) but therefore we saw dozens of shops selling the same things: flower seeds and heaps of souvenirs. Very touristy, recommend that you as a tourist better spend your time on something else in the city :)

Such a gorgeous place to visit and has a great range of flowers and plants. Nice to just have a look around even if you are not buying anything! I spent about 20 mins here and had a lovely time. It's very central so you'll most likely be walking past it at some stage during your trip to Amsterdam!

This beautiful flower market was in my top 5⃣ favourite places in Amsterdam. If you love flowers (and cheese 🧀) it's a MUST! They have an amazing selection of flowers, gifts and cheese in the shops adjacent. You will love it here.
