Great place and historical monument of Amsterdam...appear in many movies including James Bond Sean Connery movies... Best pictures are at night though

As a professional photographer I have taken many pictures here I hate to be that guy from the Western Hemisphere but I love this place it is very inspiring it touches me to my soul top notch will travel to again I also picked up quite a few ladies here with my impressive photography skills the local seem to appreciate by Western photography angles a fisheye lens

The Magere Brug translates to "Skinny Bridge". It's a bridge over the Amstel river in Amsterdam. The central section of the Magere Brug is a bascule bridge made of white-painted wood. The present bridge was built in 1934.

Very pretty bridge over the Amstel river raised to let through taller boats. Only bikes and pedestrians can cross it.

Interesting spot to visit in Amsterdam, especially if you're a history buff. Not too crowded, beautiful especially at night. Best viewed in a canal cruise.

A rather dull bridge. There is a prettier bridge by the concert house. I understand it has historic significance but that's about it. Also cyclists plough over it at speed without regard for pedestrians. 3 stars as it has historic significance. Maybe try viewing it from the water.

A beautiful brige passed while in one of the guided boat tours.
When I visited there were a light show along the canale and this bridge had some kind of light vortex that you passed true.
It felt like I was in a star wars movie and just hit light speed!

This bridge is not worth seeing. There is a much skinnier and interesting bridge going to the an island in Amsterdam. This bridge looks like several other bridges in the city.

While not overly impressive, the Amsterdam Skinny Bridge is still worth crossing off your list, especially if admired from a boat. According to our guide, if lovers share a kiss under it they will be together forever so bonus points for the romantics!

This bridge has never failed to allow me to cross the Amstel river without needing a boat or other, more cumbersome modes of transportation.

It is amongst one of the oldest Bridges in Amsterdam. Nice place to visit and not so crowded at all
