The Museumplein (Dutch pronunciation: [myˌzeːjʏmˈplɛin]; English: Museum Square) is a public space in the Museumkwartier neighbourhood of the Amsterdam-Zuid borough in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Located at the Museumplein are three major museums – the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk Museum – and the concert hall Concertgebouw.
The area was originally a wax candle factory and marshy meadows. Construction began following the completion of the Rijksmuseum in 1885, with a street plan based on the design of Pierre Cuypers, the museum's celebrated architect. The area was the location of the International Colonial and Export Exhibition in 1883.

I came here to see the Bansky and Icy & Story exhibitions. This is a great museum, really nicely laid out, decent prices and a must for anyone going to Amsterdam. Great information on all of the pieces. They have pieces in their garden area as well which is really cool. One of my favorite tourist things I did in Amsterdam and would definitely go again!

Amazing spot. Favourite museum I've ever gone to, like a breath of fresh air compared to others!! Beautiful art and laid out really efficiently too. Shop has really good prices.

This museum contains mostly Bansky pieces. The tickets can be bought online if you want to avoid staying in line to get in. The staff is nice and helpful. You should start your visit on the top floor and finish on the ground floor. Taking pictures is not forbidden in this museum. The museum is not very large, so you can see all of it in a relatively short period of time.

Forget about surroundings. The real gem between famous places is Moco, where you can live the experience of art in its beating form, directly from the streets. The adorable 1904 mansion, villa Alsberg, renovated to host the museum, is the icing on the cake. Present from the world and past from local culture merge to offer the privilege of an impressive visit, garden included: a unique memory, very easy to cherish.

Great and unique collection by Banksy and Icy & Sot. Enjoyed everything. The museum is a bit small, managed to go through the whole thing in less than 40 minutes. Got a discount for the entrance ticket because I got there after 5pm. So overall it was worth it.
