Well worth the entrance fee. The inside is impressive. There is a good audio guide, full of history and interesting facts. It takes about 1.5 hours to do the full tour. Try to aim for a quite point in the day it would be difficult to appreciate if it is too busy.

Good decision to go there. Many beautiful rooms and halls covered by gold and ornaments. Electronic guide available. The best way is to follow few random guy with big cameras because they always know where to go and where to look and few nice rooms there are a little hidden.

One of the must-see places in Amsterdam. The main hall is absolutely stunning and the side rooms are all very beautiful. The price is alright and audio guides are available in many languages. I would recommend bringing your own headphones though as it can get quite tiring to hold up the guide speakers to your ear. Bags must be placed in the staffed coat room. The gift shop at the exit is OK and offers a decent variety of things to buy. The only bad thing is the limited space in the side rooms. Often there is a barrier that only allows 1-2 people to peek into the rooms and a lot of people seem to stand in that space for the whole duration of the audio guide explanation, which can go on for quite a while. More space would be appreciated. On my second visit I also did the audio tour for kids and I have to say: it is quite fun ;)

I really love this place. When I go there I visit the former city hall though rather than a royal palace. Great symbol for the golden age of Amsterdam and the Dutch republic. I always take visitors there if I can. The audio tour is very extensive and very well done. It's too bad that you can't see this buildings true Beauty from the outside because in my opinion the building is usually underrated. Also quite cheap to visit.

Place is pretty cool. It is very beautiful inside and my mother says it's her favorite of all the palaces she has visited (and she's seen quite a few). The tour takes a while, but I'm lazy and just did my own thing. The gift shop is on the outside. You must check coats and backpacks, no matter how small. All the staff are so friendly!

Fantastic place to visit The Royal Palace in Amsterdam. I had a brilliant time walking around Amsterdam Holland taking in the sights. Will definitely visit Amsterdam agein love the place and the people of Holland. I highly recommend Amsterdam a place to visit. Amsterdam has a variety of bars, coffee shops, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Just be careful if you visit the Red Light District because of pick pockets and drug dealers. I heard a few story's about people getting pick pocketed and been made to buy class A drugs.

Just fantastic!!! I enjoyed every single minute inside the royal palace. You pay a ticket in the entrance and gets the audioguide device, this audio guidance has some languages available. The palace has a good structure to receive the visitors, with good restrooms, with a place to store your backpack and your coat if needed. The staff are really nice and helpful.

I only decided to go here on an impulse, but I really enjoyed my visit. Such a beautiful place with a great audio tour, really enjoyed learning about the building's history. The staff I spoke to were lovely too. No faults!

Interesting stuff to see and hear. If you want to learn about Amsterdam history this is your place along with Amsterdam Museum . Also it has an audio guide which is mandatory if you want to learn about the Palace 10+ languages available. Might take around two hours to give it a proper tour, that includes hearing everything from the audio guides.

Really interesting. Lots of history. Lots of rooms to see. Great architecture. The inside looks better than the outside might suggest. The palace is in a great location. On transit routes. Downtown. Near restaurants and shopping. The self-guided tour works really well, with choice of languages, more or less information about each room as you choose. Definitely worth a visit.

Such a lovely palace! The “map of the globe” was fascinating! I did not use the audio guide. Preferred to explore on my own. There are a LOT of people so think about going earlier in the day. We went during peak hours. The gift shop is really nothing to get excited about. It would have been nice to learn more about the reigning King & Queen of The Netherlands 🇳🇱A very special piece of Dutch History & most certainly worth a visit..

This was an unexpected delight. My wife and I went here because we had some time to kill before our visit to the Anne Frank House, and I'm so glad we did. The palace is filled with opulent and beautifully decorated rooms, but most impressive was the amazing sculptures that were practically on every square inch of the walls and ceilings; The sculpture of Atlas was my favorite. There is a self guided audio tour, but to be honest it was very long winded, so my wife and I roamed around and listened only to parts that piqued our interest. It's definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful! Ornately decorated rooms, a magnificent palace. Doesn't take too long to cover the entire first floor. The audio guide is informative. But just spend some time in each room, and take it all in.

August 2018. Last time I was there was 35 years before. I never went in. SHould have. I parked my lorry outside. When I came back from tea my lorry had gone.... But this is about 2018. Not 1983. I love a Palace. Especially one with loads of chandeliers. Especially on a wet day. Which it was. 10 Euros well spent I reckon. If I were you I'd go and see for myself. Spend several hours there. I would.
