Always worth a visit when near Llangefni. Very interesting exhibitions of local artists works with many for sale. Also exhibitions of local culture and heritage. Quality of exhibitions is always very good. An interesting shop with local arts, crafts items as well as souvenirs and visitor momentos. The restaurant has a good menu with tasty freshly prepared food. Wheelchair access is good all around. Parking is ample.

Like the rating suggests...Oriel Ynys Mon is ok.. If your concept of art is a piece of newspaper/paper with writing in a frame or three frame pictures, all with waves except a random bench in the middle for around £85 each...then this is your place! However I would say the exhibition with the oil paintings is worth a look (hence the three stars). The cafe content looked nice, and so did the entire building. Lastly, the staff looked angry I must say (possibly from the W.I?)

Bonus - it's free! Loads of free parking too. Quite a few exhibitions going on and you can buy most of the pictures or at least prints of them via the shop. Cafe had nice food but a little pricey. Definitely worth a visit.

When card machine is working food and service excellent. However twice we have visited in past month to find card machine out of order and had to go elsewhere. Resulting in the loss of approximately £120 of business as between two visits there were 10 diners. Do the maths and get your card machine working

Modern building holding art exhibitions along with a small museum. When we were there it was devoted to only a very few artists. Can be a little bit overwhelming if there are dozens of works by the same artist. I would rather have had a smaller curated selection by several different artists.
