Great place to hang out in Krabi. The place is very windy. Great for picnic, photo and leisure caving. Will come and visit again.
Beautiful little beach. We spent the morning there up until just after midday as it was perfectly in the shade from the cliff. The Cave is nice to visit and the water is perfectly warm. Keep an eye on the tide also as it was nice while the tide was out. Once the tide came in, the beach almost disappeared.
Incredibly beautiful beach, with towering cliffs and a cave. Warm water. Big crowds though, hence the loss of a star in my rating. Some surprisingly decent food available via boats that come right up on the beach.
Absolutely stunning beach. Great shallow area to swim in, clear water and you can watch the sunset too. The boats on the beach selling drinks and food top it off. One of the top rated beaches in Thailand.
Not much to see or so here apart from the famous "dick cave" and rock climbing, if that's your thing. The water is clear and nice, but usually crowded as it's one of the stops for the four-island tour. The story of the cave as told by locals is that Phra Nang was the wife of a local fisherman. One day her husband set out to sea but never returned. According to this story, the woman lived out the rest of her years living in the cave and looking out to sea waiting for her husband to come back. Fishermen and boatmen still make offerings in the form of incense and flowers to ensure a safe journey and in form of phallic symbols carved from wood to ensure fertility.
Phra Nang cave beach is a must-see attraction if you're in Krabi. While the cave is not much to behold, the scenery and all around vibe of this beach is amazing. You won't find too many drunk foreigners like you would at most popular beaches, and the walk from the shops and restaurants to this beach is pleasant and not too treacherous. If you're not planning on swimming, at least come for the picture. Keep in mind that there is only one small facility here for bathrooms/beverages if you have children.
Very beautiful beach, but little crowdy, as beach is small. 2 small caves are there, scenery is very good. Multiple long tail boat providing food and beverages. Most visit place.
Absolutely stunning, one of the best beaches I have ever seen in the world. But, like all amazing and beautiful things, it gets taken over by tourists during the day. Be sure to stay in this area and check it out for sunrise o sunset, there will be less people.
Incredible beach! Careful with the food boats though. I ordered just food one day and was fine but the next day I ordered a smoothie and got really sick for a couple days.
One of the best beaches on the coast. The finest sand on beach and in water. Very high and beautiful cliffs. Can only recommend to go there.
Short stretch of beach, a (first) stop on most boat trips from Ao Nang. Hop of your boat and turn right, at the end you'll find the small caves. Main attraction here are the huge amount of fertility objects, a popular photo op for many visitors. Also rock climbing and swimming. Hungry: there are a few food vendors who come to this beach by boat.
