A cool spot to take one of the most overdone pictures in town. But who cares. It's pretty and there if you like taking photographs you'll find like minded people pretty much always.
Such an easy place to navigate to. Generally convenient to park. And an awesome view of the city. I think not quite as good as from west midtown near 14th street but classic.
Great place to take photos of downtown Atlanta at any time of day or night. Nearby free parking makes it easily accessible. I’ve been twice and ran into panhandling both times, it’s not unsafe but beware your surroundings.
Not only is it a fantastic view of the city, and a photographers dream - it is also the iconic view from the Walking Dead series. It's not a horrible walk from the train but there is also plenty of street parking nearby and there is almost always people taking images so you may need to wait your turn ;) The best time is, obviously Golden Hour, that last hour before the sun sinks but an overcast day is also fantastic. It's definitely a must see.
Atlanta's most heavily photographed from spot. Even the iconic photo of 'The walking dead' TV show was shot from here. Nevertheless, Jackson street bridge is an excellent spot to photograph Atlanta skyline.
The bridge provides an excellent view of the Atlanta skyline and is one of the few bridges in Atlanta which does not have a safety barricade and thus provides a clear view for capturing pictures. The bridge also has busy express ways running below, which provide an excellent opportunity to capture fantastic long exposure shots, which look fantastic. The nearest marta station though is a little far and you might end up walking a fair distance should you be using public transport to reach the premises Also the bridge is in a slightly secluded area and is not easily locatable if not using google maps or know the the exact way to the place
God level location and Goals for Long exposure shot with Atlanta skyline, lots of parking spaces, people do park on the bridge too. Ideal spot for photography as u dont have security barricades blocking.
Amazing spot to take photos of the skyline! Free parking is everywhere and wasn't an issue. Went around noon and there was hardly anybody there. Will be back!!
Great place to look to the Atlanta skyline and the city. For the people that watched Walking dead this is a good place to visit and take a picture.
Best time spent with my baby😍 the Cool breeze was blowing on us from heaven and brought winds of love
Super pretty view, a lot of places to park! This is also a filming location of the walking dead, so that is pretty cool! Very iconic! Make sure you snap some pictures while visiting!
Its an iconic bridge which should be visited if you are in Atlanta. Get there around 1 hr before dark so that u can get the golden hour pictures as well as light trails at night. For parking you can do it as parallel parking on the road thats where most people park near the bridge.
