Maungakiekie / One Tree Hill is a 182-metre (597 ft) volcanic peak in Auckland, New Zealand. It is an important memorial place for both Māori and other New Zealanders. The suburb around the base of the hill is also called One Tree Hill. It is surrounded by the suburbs of Royal Oak to the west, and clockwise, Epsom, Greenlane, Oranga, and Onehunga. The summit provides views across the Auckland area, and allows visitors to see both of Auckland's harbours.

I absolutely love Cornwall Park, or one tree Hill. It's a great place for a picnic, long walk, bike ride, family time. Barbecue. Brilliant for site seeing and photography. I absolutely love it here, so many childhood memories. It's a great place to take the kids for a day out, or have a romantic dinner with your partner. Absolutely beautiful and we'll kept. 10/5 😍🎆👍
Expansive, full of greenery, has nice walkways, children's play area, two small cafés, in some demarcated area u can see cows n sheep grazing, also has a drive-through road not disturbing the walkers. A very nice place to spend any time of the day. Even at mid-noon, u will get lot of shade to relax n feel refreshed.
Beautiful park. Excellent place to go for a walk or run. There is an interesting bistro with an amazing view of the city. It is quite hilly, and the roads and sidewalks aren’t fully prepared to assist you go all the way up with some struggle. The location is easy to access and even if you don’t live in the area, going there to jog or play with your dog is an excellent plan.
Beautiful spot on a sunny day. There are permanent bbq enclosures set up throughout the park so no matter which side of the park you go to you can have a nice picnic. If cooking your own is not your thing there are several cafes and a really nice ice cream kiosk. Only downside is it can get very busy on a sunny weekend so come early if you want to claim a good spot in the shade.
Such a beautiful park in the middle of Auckland city. One Tree Hill is the gem at its centre. Great running and walking trails. A great restaurant and excellent bistro. Where else could you find sheep running around in the middle of a big city? Good cricket club here also. Definitely a highlight of Auckland. Oh and don’t forget the StarDome!
Great place for kids and families. Plenty of easy parking and beautiful views. Kids especially enjoy playing here. They can do so many activities like bring their scooters and bikes or just play ball. Loads of space to run around. Moreover the cafes are also great with some outdoor seating making this a great family place.
Love Cornwall park! DURING THE DAY! I walk my dog regularly and love to walk through the park but one night I decided to walk through the park by the fountain... Never again!!! IT WAS SO SCARY! NO ROAD LIGHTS! if there was I would of given it 5 stars 😀
A fantastic place to visit. Views all over Auckland from the top of One Tree Hill. See animals and ducks in their own habitat. Also great place to run/walk. Nature at its best a must visit while in Auckland. One of my favourite places.
Its a very good palce to handout with friends or group. It has 2 sections first is for Cornwall park Sports section and second is Cornwall park reserve. Best Place for sports lovers and people who want to live away from the crowd and enjoy the holiday with BBQ.
Beautiful green park in middle of city. Nature loaded. Good for all ages throughout the year. Enjoy some coffee in park or run. Wooden bar- be-que's are also available. You can see sheeps and cows around. This place has something for all around the years.
A lovely area very close to central Auckland. Lots of walks some easy some steep. Cafe is always busy so must be good.
Great park. Trees, walks, nature. However the workout area where my mate and I do calisthenics exercise needs an upgrade, the bars are too low and thick to have correct grip when doing chin ups. Great that there is a workout area, but would be even better and attract more people for exercise if the bars were appropriate.
Love this place. Great views. Great trees. Farm animals. What more could you want. We have started hitting up the 8am 5km park run on Saturdays which is a great way to start the weekend.
Great place in the middle of the city. Quiet and lovely. Lots of doggos to pet and a great place for a run. Many routes and lovely place to get away from the Auckland traffic for a while. Peaceful.
A must visit. If you ever go to Auckland you definitely should come to this place. The walk up the hill is rewarded with a beautiful view.
Great city park. Barbeques. Tree lined alleys. Paddocks. A mountain to climb and survey one of the best views of Auckland from atop. Perfect spot to get some exercise or chill & take in the greenery.
