Really enjoyed it. 3 floors filled with interesting exhibits. You really get a solid understanding of what an amazing leader LBJ was- his legislative accomplishments and his ability to get others to step up and get things done. Plus his great sense of humor. In addition to the exhibits there are informative short videos and a fun animatronic LBJ. We spent about 3 hours here.

This is the second Presidential museum I have been to, so I can only compare to the Carter museum in Atlanta. Over all it is well worth going to. It is a beautiful building and very well maintained. This focuses on LBJ's life and his term as President. We went through quickly and spend about an hour, you could definitely spend more time. I accidentally parked in a University of Texas lot and got a ticket. I guess there is guest parking but I must have missed it. Be careful.

Interesting place if you enjoy 20th century American history. The interior is much more inviting than the stark exterior. The exhibits were a little better than I was expecting. The top has a beautiful view of downtown Austin with a replica of Johnson’s Oval Office that is oddly 1/8 less in size than the original. Was able to leave a backpack at the front desk; just be mindful the don’t have lockers to lock or secure items. Staff is helpful but not as friendly as I was expecting. One staff member(or director) was touring a congresswoman from Nevada and definely didn’t want to be bothered with questions from anyone else.

I am fascinated by LBJ and this library offers a lot of really interesting information. You feel like you are in museum where time stands still and you really experience the flavor of his presidency. For anyone who is interested in presidential history, this is your place!

I came with a backpack, they said that I had to check it in with the police. I waited a half and hour for the officer to see me, and finally just left. I already pre paid and entrance ticket so I just wasted my money. Great way to treat people over here.

The library described Lyndon baines Johnson as a tornado in pants! WOW! really? he must of had lots of work to accomplish during his 4 years in office. And he did too! Cant explain what he did completely unless you visit the Library itself and you will see his work unfold before you. Then, you'll understand why he called himself, THE TEACHING PRESIDENT. Liked the visit and the experience.

Very well put together exhibits. I was a little disappointed that a few of the interactive (the phone call experience near the civil rights section) portions of the exhibit were not working. Overall a memorable experience and a place to take others to learn more about the history of the country during his time in office

Great place to spend 3 hours. That's all you need. Gives you background of LBJ. He was focused on equality and did a lot of work in the US on this. Very organized tour and building. Free parking in lot 28.

A wonderfully historical place. I have attended many professional development workshops trainings and programs here. It is an awesome place to get continuing education hours. I love the many displays. I have attended Social Justice on the Field and in the Vlassroom, as well as Beatlemania. It's a great place to just take your family or hang out with friends to get an awesomely historical perspective of the Lyndon Johnson years. There are some details regarding Lady Bird Johnson, as well. Don't miss their Educator nights, either.

Great Library with wonderful exhibit! This is my 6th Presidential Library, this one is at the top! Very informative, I lived this era so it was personal, especially about Kennedy and beyond, Vietnam, etc! New insight from a more mature perspective!

Very well done. The library and museum includes all of LBJ's political career as well as exhibits highlighting Lady Bird and the rest of his family. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
