The design of the building is awesome! Entrance fee is 15manat for adult and free for kid. The building is big but the collections are limited. Hopefully there is more displays in future. The cafe inside the building is beautiful which you can enjoy and rest after the visit. Worth a visit..
Amazing structure. One of Baku's modern landmark. "I love Baku" photo stand is located in front of this building. They have two museum inside of which one is all about vintage car collections. Landscape around the property is well maintained. Also, they have a wide area for parking.
4 stars for Nice place and building design and very big gardens around only. But no star for very poor service inside the museum. Classic cars, you pay 10 AZN to visit and one told you about you cannot take photos or video there. No maps can help you to walk around and no guide inside.
Amazing monument of human ambition. From one side a beautifull building from an inspired architect, from the other side an almost empty museum with some forgetting exhibition.
A very amazing architectural building, filled with historical items. We took a 1:30 hours tour going through 4 floors showing different items starting with the country map and traditional customs and cloth on the 1st floor, followed by Geometric designs on the 2nd floor, beautiful dolls and puppets on the 3rd and Azerbaijani women dress styles over the years in the last floor. There is also a gallery for cars with separate entry ticket and beautiful landscape work surrounding the building
Many of those who happened to see the design of the Heydar Aliyev Center for the first time had hard times to believe that such a project might ever come true. In fact, even in theory, the erection of the building of a such extraordinary design looked far from being anyhow realistic. Construction of the Center’s facility was launched in 2007 and completed on May 10, 2012, to celebrate the National Leader’s 89th anniversary. SOURCE: Baku Travel Guide
Marvel piece of art that gigantic piece of art is standing tall with no wall and no roof amazing it look like a wave of the ocean and also resemble the rulers signature.. inside the building the have a museum and modern art but i love the outside gardens and amazing artwork set up on the stairs you will love to be there dont forget to take picture with i love baku sign Highly Recommended
Awesome construction... Kudos to the architect and builders who made it possible.. Wonderful collection of photography exhibition... Truly, an icon for Baku, Azerbaijan..
A place to must visit if u happen to be in BAKU. the design of the building its architecture beauty is Splendid. The museum has all information about the history of AZERBAIJAN.
It is a beautiful piece of construction. Though I couldn't go inside it. The surrounding is great and also one can take photos
Amazing! Impressive architecture building from outside and from inside as well. Each floor is dedicated to a specific theme and well designed. The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 57,500 m2 building complex in Baku / Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles.
Great construction comes with excellent looks Superb cultural center of Baku. It took 2 hours for me to visit complete center Also you will see the great infrastructure and art of design here which comes with great interiors and very decent exteriors Tourist was visiting here for fun, entertainment, peace of mind, and for taking knowledge Must visit once when you are going / travelling to Baku
Beautiful huge modern building stretching the imagination to its limits. The vastness both inside and outside was impressive and the contents of the museum are very informative.
One of Baku's interesting places for tourists. The architecture of the building itself is amazing and definitely worth a stop even if one doesn't have the time to go inside. There are some permanent displays regarding the history and culture of Azerbaijan, mini Azerbaijan (models of important buildings in Azerbaijan) and there are some special exhibitions for limited time.
The Heydar Alieyv Centre is one of the most beautiful architectural masterpieces I've personally seen. The building is as much of a pleasure to see on the outside as it is on the inside. It's very spacious with gardens and grass areas and other places where you can rest before or after you've visited the inside of the museum. The exhibitions themselves when we visited inside were marvelous. There were 4 floors of very interesting exhibitions about puppets, fashion, paintings and architectural models of Baku's finest buildings. Besides that there are 4 floors of historical exhibitions on Heydar Aliyevs life itself. All that for the mere price of 15 Manats or around 7 euro. Very interesting and a definite must if you visit Baku.
Fabulous building, splendid architecture construction..The two building parts reflect part of Azerbaijan culture and new political era. The whole building interior design is wonderful.
Massive structure which is beautiful to see from outside. Heard it is quite extravagant and unique from inside. Will probably visit inside someday.
A great place that merge the historical achievements of Heyder Aliyev and modern arts. It includes many areas like, his life, personal items, clothes, toys, old designers women clothes, small artistic demonstrations of the hot spots in Azerbaijan. There is a old cars museum that I truly recommend, it contains over 80 old cars but you have to buy a separate ticket to enter.
The most gorgeous building I have ever seen! Beautiful architecture inside and out. A must see for tourists. Includes all types of modern art, sculptures, historical fashion, instruments, as well as Heydar Aliyev’s belongings. However, one gift given by Yasser Arafat to Heydar Aliyev was a frame of “Dome of the Rock” in Jerusalem which was labeled as an “ancient building”. I urge those responsible to change this label as it is disrespectful to Palestinians and Muslims.
The iconic Zaha Hadid design. A cultural place full of great architecture located in the beautiful city if Baku. The design is extremely unique, the full experience is exceptional. I would go there for so many times if I could.
