Very good museum of history in Azerbaijan. It covers everything from prehistoric, ancient time, until recent history. It takes about one hour to see everything.
If you are a big fan of history then don't miss the chance to visit
Not very interesting
Historical place in Baku.
History of Azerbaijan museum with English and Russian descriptions.
This museum is chaos. There is no sign in the street where the entrance is. Inside the ladies don't really care that you are there, they're eating and talking very loudly. The museum is full of stuff, which might be interesting, however, the English texts are very bad and a lot, a normal person can't read that much (or you need a whole day probably and bring some food with you). There is no English (or any) text under a lot of items, so you don't have a clue what's going on. Also, a lot of copies of original books, pages. The toilet is Azerbajian as well...
İndependence Muesum of Azerbaijan is also located here. The building looks like this.
It was horrible a lot of boring text, no interactive visulations and no one speaks english.
Fascinating museum. I really appreciated the English translations on the description cards.
