414 Light Street is a building located on Light Street in the Inner Harbor district of Baltimore, Maryland that consists of a 44-story glass and steel structure completed in 2018.
Located at the intersection of Light and Conway streets in Downtown Baltimore, 414 Light Street was built on the original site of the McCormick & Company. The 1921 industrial complex was a fond memory of many Baltimoreans for the spice aromas that wafted down to the streets below. The McCormick building was razed in 1988 after the company had left the city for Hunt Valley. The demolition of the original factory was heartily fought by preservationists, but The Rouse Company, developers of Columbia and Harborplace, won in the Maryland Court of Appeals. The Rouse Company's plans for a replacement structure never came to fruition, leaving the property as a vacant parking lot.

If you haven't been to it, you should, it is a lot of fun. The people creating the various light displays are very creative. Plus there are bands playing and other entertainment. The only bad thing, is that sometimes they have problems with the technology and one or another of the displays won't be working for a while. Despite that, it is just a fun time.

I had a great time at Light City Baltimore exhibit. It's entertainment for the entire family. The display spans a few blocks with bright lights everywhere, so there's lots too see. There was live entertainment, as well as, your traditional carnival games and food. I wish the weather was better; however, it was still fascinating. My favorite parts were the light-up see saws and the light beams on the water that were controlled by movement. I would recommend the festival for family fun night. There's something to do for all ages.

I was so disappointed! Based on the media hype, I was expecting more lights throughput the harbor and more interactive exhibits. The kids were not impressed. Somebody dropped the ball on this one.

Went there at the start of BGE light city festival and the atmosphere was amazing. People coming with their kids and families. Lots of food options with spectacular light views. Multiple places on pier were decorated with lights and the concept was unique. There was a parade held at evening, lots of stages with DJs and live performances. Would recommend to go by public transport as getting a car or uber was next to impossible.
