This is great for kids. I went with another adult. The museum is great for adults, but not the 4D theater, kids would enjoy that part most. Reasons for 4stars is bc of the 4D movie. It is very juvenile. The rest were fun n interesting for adults, the kids would enjoy the mirrors as well. Overall, great experience!
I have been to this ripleys twice now and they added new things compared to the last time which is about 11 months ago. I love this place not to mention the location its next to everything so if you want to have a good time start here. The facts they have on their displays are very well informed. I love their 4D theater they do need new 3D glasses. And their mirror maze was a lot of fun.
As a 24-year-old, I had SO MUCH FUN walking through this museum and seeing all the crazy things it holds. I would highly recommend visiting this museum if you're interested in the weirder things in life. When we arrived to the museum and asked how long the walk-through was, the lady at the front desk told us it would take about 45 minutes. I don't think she realized how much we would enjoy this museum. We were in there for HOURS. There was so much to see and there were interactive elements that were fun to play with. I would recommend this attraction for both children and adults. I enjoyed my time here SO MUCH that I want to go to Gatlinburg, TN where I hear there are even more Ripley's Believe It or Not attractions.
The exhibits are interactive and enjoyable. The bathroom included. Always answer the phone. The mirror maze was the best. Be ready to laugh and shriek. Well worth the price of admission.
Very pricey but fun. Tons of artistic and interesting oddities. Nice to go at your own pace.
Fun place. Nice employees. Ripleys exhibit was pretty short but the mirror maze and 4D movie theater made up for it. We had a nice time. We got discounts from Groupon. I Would recommend this place
Super weird and cool place to visit. Mirror maze and 4d movie were perfect for our children. They had everything from Harry Potter to a giant T-Rex... Lots of fun interactive exhibits. The bathrooms were even interactive which my kids got a kick out of. Would definitely visit again if I'm ever back in Baltimore. My one complaint and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the girl at the front cash register was a bit under trained and didn't know what she was doing with our online tickets... I asked if I could leave and come right back bc I wanted to visit an atm to get cash as some of the exhibits require paper bills or quarters to operate. She said if I left I would have had to buy another ticket... To which I replied could you get your manager please. After speaking with the manager I was allowed to leave and return for the purpose of getting money out to spend in their museum. Overall it was a great experience.
First time in Baltimore so decide to go here during vacay & man was is amazing & fun. Liked the piano sounding stairs. Lots of interesting artifacts. Thank you Ripley you done good.
I would definitely give this place 5 stars. It was fun and interesting from beginning to end. It wasn't crowded at all which made viewing the exhibits even better. Took us about an hour to make it through the odditourium. It is a little expensive 18 dollars for adults and 12 for kids but I think it's worth it. If your in Baltimore and looking for something to do definitely stop in.
Best money I spent on the boardwalk. We have a range of ages from 3-16 and all enjoyed. We especially love the tunnel that makes you dizzy! Awesome time. You definitely need to go there; very well put together.
It was everything that I could ever expect it to be and more. There isn’t a dull thing in this museum. I’ve been a Ripley’s fan ever since I was in preschool. It was so cool to see all of the different things that I’ve seen in the books. Definitely worth it if you like oddities
The mirror maze and the show are good but it lacks luster and awe. Loved the show as a kid but this left me disappointed and my kids thought I was nuts. The did like the mirror maze and 3D show but that's it
There are some fun kid oriented exhibits but they are more on the silly side. There is a complementary 4-D experience in which I found to be underwhelming and cheap to say the least. Only cool recommendation I have for this place is Lincoln's hair, lochness trap (funny reactions), and the mirror mazes.
