Centrally located. Just minutes walk from Trinity Metro station. Good ambience, quite spacious. Good food. Courteous staff. The open air space is very green with lots trees, making us wonder if we are in the heart of the city.
What can I say? It doesn't get better than this... I'd already eaten and just wanted to catch a coffee with my girlfriend. Checked the menu for a lark, ordered a starter (prosciutto and melon salad) and it was out of this world. Wild horses couldn't prevent me from then ordering a tenderloin sandwich which blew my taste buds away. Perfectly done, presented and served. Now add to that the beautiful February Bangalore weather, greenery all around and the sound of flowing water. Always loved The Oberoi, at this rate, I always will.
The place is really good in terms of a 5 star hotel with all amenities and courteous staff. The low cost category room is too small so good to stay away from it if you are used to living in big rooms. Any room from the Premier and above types are recommended. The place has more green than any other hotel in Bangalore, good for nature lovers and anyone who likes to hear birds chirping in the morning.
