The zoo was really amazing. We got there around 2pm and it said online that you can see everything in 2 hours... That's definitely not true. You could spend a whole day here it's so beautiful. The zoo grounds are very well keep and the animal enclosures have fresh green plants and the animals seem well taken care of. There is signage all over telling you so much useful information both Scott the species and about the specific animal personally (with their own personalized names). I definitely want to come back! Go early around 10am as some of the shows are only in the noon time.

Underrated zoo! I found my experience at the zoo enjoyable. There is a mixture of both animals and birds collection in the zoo. While it could have been better maintained, it was definitely worth the money. The zoo came with a lake where you can go on a boat ride - you leg-paddle on your own. We had the opportunity to feed a friendly camel without any extra charge. Definitely visit it if you have extra time in BKK. It's a good break from all the shopping!

This zoo is really great for the city zoo. Price is cheap for big amount of animals in this zoo. Zoo is not too big, you need about 3-4 hours for unhurriedly walking. Animals live in the clean cages/aviaries and look like aren't tortured or hungry. The zoo has many trees, so walking there at midday is not a problem. This place is good for children.

Like many zoos it has lots of animal's, but in this one you have many other activities of interaction like feed fishes and many others. It has a 7/11 store inside that is very convenient. Recommending going in the morning because most Indore shows start to close really early in the afternoon.

We enjoyed this zoo so much! It's not easy to get to, but only about a 300 batt Uber from our hotel. If you take a cab, they may tell you that the zoo is closed and try to take you to a safari park far away. THE ZOO IS NOT CLOSED. just go anyways. It's worth it. Lots to see, in my opinion you need more than the recommended 2 hours. For the 150 entrance fee, its worth it. Go!

Surprisingly entertaining for the kids, without having to spend thousands of Bahts. Animal collections and attractions are about enough for a 3 hours visit. While conditions are not pristine but it's well maintained.

Signs for KFC, there is none. So if you're a westerner who doesn't like the quite frankly unclean food court there is (bizarrely) a 7/11 that does snacks in the zoo... As to the actual animals, Egh. Small enclosures mean you get a good view... Of some very unamused animals. The lone elephant paces back and forth, as would I if in isolation and a small patch of grass (despite the Thai people's supposed love for these animals). That said you can get very close to the giraffes which is incredible and the reptile terrarium is quite good

A very nice Zoo and sure fun for the family. Entrance fee is very cheap and that must be the reason why the zoo is not well maintained. Some of the cages are really bad, others are better. Animals belong to the wild, for sure. But it's a good way to show real animals to children. It's sad that Bangkok is so rich but there is no money for public places like zoos or parks. Well, its Thailand...

A good place to bring the kids when in Bangkok. Take the tram around the circular path of the zoo. A bike rental is good too to see the place without tiring yourself out. Daughter enjoyed the paddle boat too. Seal show is good. Monkeys too. 150 baht for adult to enter.

There are a lot of animals to see here that it is worth coming for a visit. The place is nature friendly and it offers a lot of activities such as biking, swimming, boating, feeding fish, eating and watching seal shows and the animals of course. There are lots of plants and trees too. It is good to spend hot summers here for the place is cooler than any part of the city.

The feeling is like seeing the animals like "waiting for their time to die". Isolated animals. The zoo is not in good maintainence. Fee for foreign visitor: 150 baht. (as of 7 July 2018) We took Grab car to reach this place. Any gate can be accessible and purchase ticket. So do not have to go only to Gate 1.

A little bit old but a lot of greenery. Not the happiest animals. Nice water park for the children. Convenient tram inside. All very cheap.

Entertaining seal show! Apart from that, pretty standard zoo. Has the usual range of animals but snakes and several other reptiles were conspicuously missing. Food is cheap though.

Good place, not too big, have some shows for kids too. Tram is also available for commute. Place is not too far from city. Try to reach early as many areas closed after 4 AM...only few are open after that. Everything is good but there are lots of crow on children slides so kids can't able to enjoy them.

Great zoo, even we got free coffe when entering the zoo, many animals here from lion to lizard, but little bit scary when you see tigers zone but no cage or wall just got little river between us. But overall it is nice place to spend your holiday with family and kids.
