We had an excellent day with Tick on the Bangkok bike and boat tour. Highly recommended. Tick was great company and help us to enjoy and learn about lots of parts of Bangkok we would never have got to on our own. Lunch was completely delicious and served in the perfect location. A terrific idea for kids (Ours aged 11, 13, 13 and 16) too. All in all, a huge thanks to Grasshopper and Tick for an excellent idea, really well done.
I have been to Bangkok literally hundreds of times but I had never seen the beauty of the iconic temples at night. Impressive and inspiring and brilliantly guided. The Grasshopper Bangkok at night bicycle tour is a must.
We had an awesome day, doing the Bangkok bike and canal tour. Amazing food for lunch, best we have had in Thailand. Great tour guides, really friendly and looked after us and our kids on tag along bikes. Highly recommended.
This is something you MUST do when in Bangkok! This tour changes your perspective of the city. Riding along small local markets and alleys you get to see the true bangkok. Serenity in chaos, instead of only chaos. Some stamina is required but you get enough time to recover in between stops. As an ending note a special thank you to our guide Tammy, you truly made this a five star review.
Did the Bangkok Night Time your. It was a fun tour and a nice easy ride. Tammy was a very good guide and you took it around different parts of Bangkok that were not on the tour which was an added bonus.
Amazing experience today! I was the only customer, so it was like a private tour. We visited some hidden temples, rode through the real Bangkok and its narrow streets, and the guide was outstanding! 100% recommendable!
Nice tour option if you do biking. There are several options, so you may choose according to your interest and available time. It is quiet hot to bike in day time. Would like to try night bike next time.
I hadn’t ridden a bike in 30+ years, but was enticed into taking the 4-hour night tour in Bangkok after seeing it advertised in Get Your Guide. I arrived early and they took the time to get a bike set up for me, shorter so I felt confident I could easily put my feet down. I held back asking for training wheels, but our (5 in our group, including 2of us who were solo travelers) guide kept a good eye out for how we were each doing and a competent young Korean man rode last to make sure I didn’t get lost on the way...his 2 companions were up front. At 64 I was definitely the oldest on the trip and my balance caused me some issues, but I never felt that I didn’t belong. Now for the tour, it gives you a good feel for the older areas of the city, with lots of historical information, a feel for the river, markets and the temples. The temple grounds were open to visitors and they were so quiet, definitely the best time to see the grounds, although the temples themselves were closed. I was really tired by the end, but it was the best part of my time in Bangkok. The sun is down, so it isn’t so hot, so try something new or get back in the saddle in yet a different city. I highly recommend it.
We make our tour with Tammy, she really explain us everything and answer all our questions. Great Bangkok night view, more quiet and less crowded. And do it by bike is more fun, Tammy took us to the flower market and make us try some typical food, we really enjoy it.
I did the Bangkok Canal Boat & Bike tour. Grasshopper provided top bikes and helmets. There were over 10 participants and the experience would have been better if the group was split into two groups. It was hard for the guides to take care of so many people and the group size plus the fact that it was New Years Eve often led to waiting times. But Woody and his colleague did such a great job that I have to give five stars. I felt very safe and Woody made the best out of the situation. Thumps up for your awsome guides! I also liked the itinerary. You get to cycle through narrow alleys. I would not have seen this part of Bangkok on my own.
We did a night bike tour of Bangkok. It was so much fun! We rode through back alleys and next to the river. It was hot but so much fun! I just wished their bikes had softer seats. Highly recommend this tour!
Grasshopper bike tours never fails to amaze! This was my second time joining one of their tours in Bangkok and again, what an experience! This time we did the food adventures tour with the wonderful Tammy and enjoyed every moment of it. Seeing Bangkok by night, cycling through markets and back alleyways, eating delicious local food - this is the best way to explore the real Bangkok. Tammy is such an excellent guide - very knowledgeable, friendly and well experienced. Couldn't recommend this bike tour enough.
Eating local food, cruising along peaceful canals, and seeing the locals Bangkok was the best part of my visit. The Canal Boat and Bike tour really is the way to see the city and all its hidden gems. The morning takes you through historic neighborhoods and after lunch in the heat of the day you get to cruise the canals in a boat. From the tiny waterways to the big canal you bike and boat them all. I also booked the Night Tour of Bangkok for the next night. The markets and the food stalls were incredible. I never would have tried the food on my own and it was delicious. Seeing the temples lit up at night was incredible and the guide told us all about the different elements inside.
