Local market in Bangkok. Reasonable rates of general commodities. Best for women dresses. Men wears. U can get good sovereigns if u have good bargaining skills. Heaven for people who are there to shop and buy in bulk. I saw people coming there with large empty bags filled after shopping. Cheap market against other markets.
So many clothes outlets here. Its easy to get lost. It is a wholesale market so to get a good price you need to buy 3 or more garments to get a good discount. Not much room to bargain with the sellers also most places don't let you try on for your size. And they don't accept returns. So choose your size wisely. But all in all a great place to shop.
Really great place for a holiday that entails all things shopping ! Safe and friendly locals. Stores and stores of fruits and food and almost every other thing under the sun. Make sure you are good at direction if you go walking around Bangkok because it's a maze of streets. But have fun. Saw some rats and cockroaches so wear shoes. Quite expensive for the quality of the products you get. Mostly Chinese made items for sale. Many stalls sell the same thing. As a tourist it's hard to get the locals to lower their price in bargaining and yet the locals seem to get the same item at a better price
It's good.. But only when you want to buy in bulk... It's like a universal price over there, one for 350 and 3 for 200 each.. So it'd be better if you make a group and go buy from there.. Really good quality stuff though 😏
It is a huge clothing market only. Most of the clothes are good to fit mannequins type figured women. You will find millions of ladies t-shirts, blouse, frocks, skirts and kids t-shirts at wholesale prices. Most of the shopkeepers are rude and quote highly inflated price. They even try to cheat you by quoting a competitive price and once you have selected a few pieces they demand for higher price. Be careful!
a good place to walk in the morning and at the morning market (the street beside the famous soi19 wanton noodles) and at night the stalls along the road are setup. cheap items. I like the 3 different sizes of pouches you can get there. 3 for 100 baht. pretty designs. nice food around that area too.
A large shopping zone with mostly clothing related items and food. Prices in almost all places are negotiable and low except food obviously. The market changes to a night market at night where you'll see different stuff of similar type. We travelled as a group but it seemed safe for traveling alone too even at night.
Mind boggling selection. Only venture in if you are a really experienced shopper, though. The quality is not super great in most shops... And it's not impossible to find better quality stuff for approximately the same price in other shops. Your experience of course may vary. I am speaking from my point of view. Also your experience varies greatly basis the behavior of the seller you buy from. I bought from maybe 8 or 9, but only 2 were cheerful. All were polite, of course... But I mistakenly bought something in the wrong size from one, and he wouldn't take it back. It is totally luck.
Cheap and affordable shopping area. Good place to stock up on gifts. There is a night market as well. It is spread over a largish area so quite a bit to walk. You can spend one full day and still find new things around here. There are snack shops and 7-11 around every corner as well as all the major fast food chains and local food stalls so come prepared with a bag and whole day to spend here.
A very busy and informal market place. Huge area to cover and no guidance or road map what so ever to navigate. All shops, mini lanes looks the same. Can get lost if your traveling in a group. Mainly ready made garments are sold here. No fixed prices, don't hesitate to bargain if your buying more than one. Most of the sellers can't speak English. They can only say the prices of goods. Becomes very hot in the day.
Great place for shopping. Quality is so good and prices are great. This place is usually super busy . You can shop here for hours and this place have over 100 shops. Designs are so different and fancy.
I am almost speeches about this place. A plethora of clothing wholesalers jammed into tiny booths that go on for miles. The crowds are so dense that you can barely walk the the isle. On top of that there are motor bikes picking there way though trying to make a delivery. So much liveliness and chaos it was absolutely amazing. If you want to get a feel for a non-touristy area, this is it. This place is a must see.
Nice place to hang out and get some shopping underway. The clothing is quite up to date and prices are good. Some shopkeepers have poor attitude but most of them are fine. Perhaps they suffer from tourist overload/bargaining overload. Apart from clothing, you can get good deals on bags, accessories and some household items. Definitely plan on spending at least 2 hours here for a good shopping spree!
Have Morning and night markets also.. But morning market is good among them. There is a big collection of clothes. Most of them are for girls and girls are mostly doing business. Some of them are not friendly. They even don't give to check the item. It's if you are planning to get a huge amount. Then they will give for wholesale price.
Best for shopping cheap, however it can get pretty hot as its not air conditioned & no fans. Wholesale items (3 pieces +) gets you a better price! If you walk over to platinum, some items may be the exact same but 100 baht more in price. (they close in the evening and turn into a night market/ changes vendors)
Satisfied visiting Pratunam Night Market especially when the busy traffic of Bangkok began to decrease and the trip became smooth. Pratunam provides all kinds of souvenirs and goods at a much cheaper price than other tourist objects in Bangkok with the same quality. Sellers are also more friendly and flexible.
Great shopping place and u know its good when even the locals shop here. bargaining is not necessary but if u insist they usually will accomodate if u buy in big quantity. offering clothes and accessories for men women and children. recommended if u need a wardrobe change.
Great place for shopping. Prices for clothes are at about $10 usd/300 baht. Food court is at the top of the mall on the right two entrances. Make sure to load a prepaid card at the "Coupon" kiosks to purchase food. For remaining balance you can get a refund at the "Refund" kiosk. Keep in mind that there are two separate buildings and you can't get from one floor to the other of each building except from ground floor.
It's a huge mall. The clothes are cheap and very pretty. It has more of women's clothes and accessories. It took me two days to figure out the shoe section. It was at the end of the mall, on a different building, adjacent to the main building. The malls closes early around 7.30 pm they started to close. There's small shops outside also, they have have good collection and souvenirs. Their food court is nice and has a lot of varieties but if you walk across the street, they have lot is small restaurants where locals eat and it very cheap.
