Had relocate to the fence between British embassy as photo by Tim Laven & Dalian Marino. It not even more than 20 stick there.
This is a fertility temple located next to the Nai Lert Park Heritage Home. It is a small spot with a lot of historical interest - pop next door to Lady L for a coffee...
A religious place with positive vibrations amidst the busy Bangkok streets.
Very difficult to find, and the area is too small to my expectations, it seems will be disappeared soon.
Extremely hard to find. You should ask somebody for the directions
Smaller than I expected. It is a hidden shrine on the back of the Swissotel (from where you have to enter). It is worth visiting if you are nearby and tired of the malls. Very different from the usual shrines scattered around the city. In the Lonely Planet guide I saw it named as Linguam Shrine. Not many people around are aware of the existence of this place.
This shrine used to be quite amazing with many many phallic statues of varying sizes and materials. But most of them seem to have disappeared, probably as tourist souvenirs! Note just a shadow of what it used to be. But maybe it's days are numbered in any case!
