Yesterday we didi the afternoon free walking tour in Spanish with Carmen. This was probably the BEST tour we did in Barcelona! This young lady is an encyclopedia of knowledge and guided us thru the history of Barcelona along with the legends surrounding Gothic Quarters! We loved it! She definitely deserves a good tip and the recognition! Thanks Carmen!
Free walking tour with Carsen was enjoyable and interesting. Learned about the history of the Gothic quarter including the history of Catalonia, the Spanish civil war, and some dragons! Would recommend. Tour is about 2.5 hours. Free, however guides survive on tips.
We did the free gothic tour with Luke (guides name). It was FANTASTIC! He was full of information, could answer most questions and just had a lot of passion for Barcelona. Definately one of the highlights of the trip. Wish I'd found it earlier and tried some of the other tours. Would highly recommend!
Brilliant. Very informative. Vera was lovely. Made walk very interesting Her personality was excellent Friendly funny Thanks again Vera
One of the best and most informative walking tour we have been to. Highly recommended if you are in Barcelona. Thanks "Luke"for ancient and modern history of Barcelona and Catalonia.
The Gothic Quarter walking tour was interesting. Not the best free tour that I've been on, but the guide knew a lot about the local history and was able to share some good information. I would do one of their other tours.
I took the tour of the Gothic Quarter , we went with the guide Stefanie who was energetic , enthusiastic , trying to create bonds with all the participants and also very good with the explanations of the history of the sites & monuments. She knows very well the history of the city and communicates about it effeciently. I defintely recommend this tour and if you decide to take it, go with Stefanie , you will learn a lot and enjoy it more :)
My friends and I did the Gothic Quarter tour with Pietro and it was thoroughly enjoyable. He was friendly, engaging and gave us some interesting facts about the city. We decided to check out the Flamenco show at Tarantos (organised by the same company) later that day, but I'm not sure I'd recommend that. The male singer wasn't great, the dance was nothing exceptional and it felt excessively like a(n average) show for tourists. Not authentic and special, if you know what I mean. So yeah, I recommend the walking tour and Pietro, but not the Flamenco show.
We did the Gothic Tour with Aidan the Irishmen as our tour guide. It was a fantastic experience! Aidan was incredibly knowledgable and taught us about the history and architecture, as well cultural narratives and insights regarding the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Would highly recommend this tour!
Magnificent guide Franco! Very interesting tour, everything is very informative and fun. Set of stories, legends and historical moments. A great solution for walking around Barcelona. Definitely recommend!!!
We did the Gothic Quarter walking tour with James as our guide. James was very informative and well versed with the area and Barcelona. He was friendly and easy to understand with a good sense of humour. The pace of the tour was just right. He had a nice quiz competition going between the different nationalities in the group and of course Canada won 😄. The tour walks past the main areas in the Gothic area and covers topics from history, architecture, religion culture and folklore. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Nice tour. Stephanie was our guide. She did a great job. Enjoyed the tour
We did the biking tour. Francisca was AMAZING. We loved her energy and her knowledge of Barcelona. She was willing to answer any questions and had a lot of good information to share. Fun activity!
We had an awesome experience with our guide James in the Gothic Quarter. He was super informative and passionate about the subject he told us about. Recommended!
The „Barcelona Uncensored“ Tour was mostly a street art tour. The guide was nice (but not a very engaging or energetic) and had a lot to say about some of the pieces. But after reading the website, we expected more insights into the „revolutions, revolts, and dictatorships that have shaped the city“, which was only about 15% of the topics covered. Would not recommend.
We've taken the Gothic tour today and I can recommend it. Our guide Alessio was well prepared, had a good knowledge on the Gothic quarter and some helpful information available. Besides that he's a really nice guy and ran the tour in an entertaining way.
Francisca was our tour guide for the Gothic Quarter tour of Barcelona. She was very energetic and knew the history well. Both my husband and I enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend joining her tour.
Giada was our transplanted Italian guide, a new Barcelona resident with a fervent love for her new home. She shared that affection with joy and facts, giving time for a needed break midway and plenty of insider recommendations for future exploration. She knew her history and excelled at heartfelt enthusiasm.
Had. Wonderful tour of the Gothic section with Francisca. So much knowledge and enthusiasm. Would highly recommend
Giada, my tour guide, was so enthusiastic and knew so much about Barcelona! She also helped us by giving recommendations for just about anything we wanted to do while here. She was very approachable and kind! I would say the tour is absolutely worth it. It introduced me to various landmarks and historic areas. I definitely learned a lot from it and am excited for the rest of my stay here.
Francisca was a wonderful tour guide for the Gothic Quarter tour of Barcelona. You can tell she reallly loves the city and is well-informed about the history. She also has great recommendations for other activities to do on your trip and restaurants to visit. I would highly recommend joining her tour.
Mike was not only informative but exuded passion for street art, often taking from his personal experience, both from research and his interactions with street artists. He knew the streets like the back of his hand and would stop to study new graffiti to incorporate in his tour. He also pointed out many pieces that would have a short life (would be covered up soon) and urged us to appreciate the art in the present. Highly highly recommend; I would go again just to see what new items he added. Thanks Mike :)
James was really good company, excellent interpersonal skills, knew his subject perfectly well, he is very professional and natural at delivery. We will surely recommend him and this service to our friends and family. It's a shame that we only have today but due to this wonderful time here, we are already looking forward to our next trip to Barcelona. Thanks James✌️🙏
