Visited there both at night and in the morning. next to the Mediterranean sea. You will see seagulls flying around the monument, good photographe place. Would like to go there again!

Excellent location visit as part of a day visit or part of your holiday. Google map the location and make your way there. 😁 The boat ride was 7.50 Euros for a 40minute tour. To be honest the only guide I ever use is Google or I buy a book.... Gasp a book 😁. Seriously though enjoy your trip.

So a friend and I had the briliant idea of doing a challenge near this monument. So what did we do exactly? Well my friend, we ran across the roundabout while traffic was coming towards us. We are smart. We know. It was cool seeing it though!

A beautiful closure to a crowded street. This monument is at the end is of the crowded La Rambla street. Amazing stone work on the statue. The lions in black stone gives a majestic look to it. Since this place has a historic prominence it adds great value

Great little Saturday market at foot of monument. Stroll to water edge. We chose a short trip out to sea on a catamoran. 7.50 40 mind Great morning.

An interesting spot on Barcelona's map. A tribute to Columbus from 1888 that graphically shows the story of the arrival to the so called Americas and the people involved in it. What does he point at?

Great place to visit: you go under the monument and can buy a ticket that include a glass of nice wine and the lift to the top, for 8 EUR. Cool temperature to chill while outside is sunny.

Walked through Los Rambles towards the sea. Christopher's statue looks out to the sea. A fine tribute to a great explorer.

Very beautiful place. You can see the view of the harbour. It's amazing

Great Place to see all over Barcelona! The view is really amazing, and you can make stunning pictures of the Port or the whole town. The only thing that wasn't that good was the fact that the windows were really dirty at some points... For a viewing point not ideal and this it was costs this location one star. For 2€ extra you get after you visit the platform a glass of wine. There was a bigger selection then I thought it would be and the wine was pretty good! The staff was very friendly and even very helpful! We got a lot of Tipps for the trains an busses of Barcelona that really helped us a lot. We can really recommend to visit the Mirador de Coloma! It's really worth it!

Near the harbor you can see this one beautiful high collum. For relative small price 6 eur you can get access into top. If you have barcelona card you have 50% discount. For me is suprise that directly into columm from underground is elavator which tak you into top. Still think how they put inside it elavator :-O. Anyway you have panoramatic look on whole barcelona from noce high. You should take many nice picture main highlighted points in Barcelona. One of must stop ans see points.

The giant colomn and statute in memoriam to Christopher Columbus sits in the center of a large roundabout, there is a small plaque at the bottom giving additional details. You can see this opulent memorial from many blocks away so there is no need to get to close for a good picture.

Perfect picture postcard spot. Hard not to get photo bombed. Difficult spot for a picture without someone's umbrella or hands in the shot! Afternoons are less crowded.

Las Rambla : We were a group of 4 and looking for some street shopping and finally ended up in this picturesque monument surrounded by a traffic junction and entire area is so neat clean and beautifully kept and maintained. Barcelona-i fall in love with you...We took few pictures and move forward. But this island always stands out in my Barcelona diaries.

Miradir de Colom is One of the best international tourist destination here in the planet Earth. Barcelona is a nice place to explore. What i like in Miradir de Colom Barcelona during my visit is the cool environment, very clean and peaceful. Unlike other seaport area, not so clean and polluted especially in the third world countries in Asia.

After walking on La Rambla you finally get to this monument. Is a nice symbol of the travellers and the curious who seek adventure and unknown through the world.

If you like antiques and small trinkets, this is the place for you. I went on a Friday morning and tents were set out. A short walk away was a €8.50 (1 way) 45 Minute boat ride. Very relaxing.

It has an amazing view on Barcelona. Do not visit if you fear the hight. Has an elevator really fast.

Actually it is just a square you can quickly pass by. There is a lot of historical importance but the scenery is just so so. If you walk on you will find the sea and the beach are far more beautiful.
