Good place for relaxing, sitting down or stroll and to take good pictures near the fountain. Evening time pictures came out really good. Saw lots of people run in this park.
Looks nice but when we visited there was no water and it smelled kinda funky
A beautiful monument in the Parc de la Ciutadella. On the top of the Cascada there is a sculpture of Quadriga de l'Aurora. It was erected by Josep Fontsére and to a small extent by Antoni Gaudí. I definitely recommend to visit this point of the city.
Nice place to have a walk. Lots tourists and homeless es.
Nice art work. Fountains. Nice place to sit n relex
Looks nice but there is no water at the moment so it's not that special
We happen to see this place purely by chance as we were walking past and soon discovered a gold colored statue shining in the evening sun. We were thrilled when we got to see this place up close. As we explored further, we came across gardens and finally the Catalan Parliament building. Nice place to walk specially in the evening to relax and recharge. No entry fee of any sort. We started the walk at the Arc and then moved along, crossed the road to access the park. Certainly worth a look. Great location to take pictures if you have a passion in photography. Highly recommended.
It’s gorgeous! Awesome! Huge! Giant! Very beautiful monument with lots of art. And what makes me like even more this amazing monument is the nature that is growing among the construction! It’s incredible to see the power of nature coming from rock! This is a MUST GO monument in Barcelona! It’s incredible!
Center piece of the Ciutadella Park. Is great to take a photo. Next to the monument there is a statue of a mammoth's real size.
This gorgeous fountain : Cascada Monumental, located in Parc de la Ciutadella was an interesting spot to visit.
The cascading water atop the stair-stepped stone sculptures were framed masterfully with arches and lush plant life. Gilded with gold and made timeless by time, this wonderful piece was awe-inspiring to gaze upon. My only dream would have been to sit upon the lap of the uppermost sculpture and take the world in aside the pigeons. 🙂 A must see fountain. A mammoth looms nearby.
My favorite spot in Barcelona for sightseeing. It is not as famous as other spots but the beauty of this monument is very unique with green and gold colors harmonizing perfectly.
If you have time to see one thing in the Park, it’s absolutely this. It’s beautiful, take some time to rest here.
Beautiful monument representing the neoclassical aspirations from the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exhibition. The fountains were deactivated however a nearby popsicle stand provides cooling respite. Further back there is a reproduction mammoth and boathouse. It is possible to take a romantic stroll to the top if you don't mind the masses. A cool breeze sometimes blows.
Totally worth to go there, it’s near the Arc de Triomf and if you walk a little bit more you reach the zoo of Barcelona. A beautiful park with a lot of gooses.
