I regularly stay here for my business trips in Basel. Very central, fit for purpose. Very helpful staff. Room sizes are OK for Basel and rooms are clean. Parking is horrible so if you are planning to come with a car, look for another hotel. Entrance and bar areas are making it more vivid than usual cold business hotel.
Perfect for my taste, not for the conservative/pretentious type.Breakfast in the lobby, feels like having breakfast with family.Beautiful room, cozy, super clean and welcoming. Would stay there long term without a doubt. Such a pleasant surprise! A colourful oasis in the middle of the delightful old town.
Stylish. Artemide and Kaiser Idell lamps, Loewe TV. I had a single room which was small, but well appointed. Nice bathroom with granite. Basically everything had a nice touch to it, even the breakfast (see photos). Breakfast was CHF 18, which is a good price considering how expensive food is in Switzerland. Staff are helpful and polite. One tiny thing that could be improved: USB connections for charging integrated in the sockets. One needs a special adapter for Switzerland. However staff were able to lend me one :)
