Beautiful and educational day trip. My only complaint is the gift store is over priced.
Very beautiful place with a lot of colored butterflies which fly around you, everywhere. The bosco delle fate is completely out of context. It doesn’t worth anything.
Very nice place for kids. However i think they could offer more for the entry fee
Located in Montegrotto Terme at a walking stroll from the Train Station, visit the Fairy Garden... Cool experiencing many Butterflies twirling free around you (Very Important to keep in mind NOT TO TOUCH THEM!!!) Suitable for adults and very interesting for children, there is as well a terrarium. Trees and some picnics tables. School groups welcome.
Just wow! Definitely try it!
Interesting place to bring kids for a couple of hours to see butterflies and a fairy theme garden
Very nice place to spend some time with the kids. We came here expecting to just see some butterflies and spend just a little time, but found a lot more and ended up spending over 2 hours here. There are a few sections with tons of very nice large butterflies of many different species flying around, and also some other interesting animals, fish, insects, lizards, etc. to see. My daughter actually even managed to get a butterfly to stay on her hand a couple of times, which thrilled her to no end. After the main butterfly/animal section (which is kept very hot and humid for the butterflies), you exit to a nice cool (relatively; even in August...) wooded area, the "Fairy Woods", where you can walk around and see fairytale creatures and houses etc. There's even a playground for the kids at one point. All in all highly recommended for spending a couple of hours with the kids.
Beautiful place... great emotion seeing flying all the butterflies..
