The Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (also known as Folly Farm), situated to the north of Saundersfoot and Tenby in Pembrokeshire, is a visitor attraction in Wales with around 500,000 visitors each year. Initially a farm attraction, the park is now also home to an indoor vintage funfair, a zoo with over 200 different species of animal and extensive indoor and outdoor adventure play areas.
The original farm has expanded and now covers a significant part of the park including a large undercover Jolly Barn area featuring horses, goats, sheep, pigs and smaller petting animals. Folly Farm is made up of four areas: a farmyard; a zoo; an undercover vintage funfair, including a Wurlitzer organ; There is a daily timetable of "meet-and-greet" sessions and visitors may hand-milk goats at certain times of the day. The park has expanded to the other side of the A478 road where more animals can be found in outdoor paddocks. A tractor-driven land-train ride touring the outdoor paddocks, operates between late-morning and mid-afternoon.

We had the penguin experience this week. It was absolutely fantastic! My little girl and us were well looked after by two knowledgeable and cheerful zoo keepers. The Penguins were great gentle fun to feed and it's a day we won't forget! Highly recommended.

Our mum had the lion experience today for her birthday present the keeper was lovely so friendly gave out lots of information couldn't fault her even took photos for us as we couldn't see mum feeding the lions (we were disappointed not to see) but heard her delight. Even got a toy at end of visit. Want to say thank you to the keeper! Worth every penny to have a happy mum. Only comment would be nice if entrance was included in the price of experience. Fair is great kids loved it something for all ages, didn't use out as weather wasn't great. We all loved the pirate show a treat for all ages got photos at the end. Can't fault the staff they great. Play area great we had our picnic bought tea great price of £1.50 :) only negative rubbish had been left on table near us when we returned two hours later and sat same place the rubbish was still on the tables and hadn't been cleared. It had sat there for 2 hours and been added to which considering it wasn't busy isn't great

The most surreal trip to folly farm i have made. It was great We went on Thursday during the start of the snow and i couldn't have counted more than 10 people the whole time we were there. It was very cold, but there are plenty of indoor parts to shelter us. The staff were great, even though i bet the non keeper staff were bored senseless with the lack of customers. Despite the weather we did get to see the majority of the animals due to indoor viewing areas. The indoor fair was very odd. All the music and lights/rides were on but not a person about. Very strange feeling, was like some horror movie. Not bad in anyway though. I liked it. I found it amusing. The only thing i would complain about was we had some burgers at one of the restaurant and the burgers were scorched around the edge. Now as i stated the place was empty so how you can mess up i don't know. I must say though we didn't complain as they were edible and i was glad to eat something warm. I would note though that the prices are quite high for food. The quality to value ration is way off. Overall though, even though we didnt see all animals due to the weather we had a great time.

Farm and 'wild' animals abound with easy viewing in spacious grounds. Plenty of play activities, indoor and outdoor, to keep kids and big uns happy. Good and drink outlets scattered through grounds. Maps provided (necessary item). Shop has to be passed through to enter and exit but unlike some is not "in your face" with items for sale well presented with plenty of space to wander around in. Gifts, souvenirs etc seem to be a cut above the normal tourist money spinning garbage, full marks Folly Farm

Brilliant day out for the whole family. So much to see and do, things there for the whole family. Friendly staff, good food prices and more than you can see and do in a whole day. Had a great day, looking forward to the next visit.

Amazing day out for all ages ... Love seeing the giraffes and penguins 💝 the outdoor activities which are great for the children to burn off some energy if it's colder the indoor play area is noisy but age appropriate with lots of seating areas. The food is not great but you can take your own. Lots of seating for picnics. The old funfair is fantastic and cheap you buy tokens and the rides are 50p - £1 so much fun. A great day out.

Loved our visit. Loads to do inside and out. Fairground was amazing, everything was clean and tidy and looked great. Lots to do for tots up to young teens. Lots of places to buy food or sit and eat a picnic from home. The animals look well cared for with clean enclosures and interesting and varied looking pens. Staff are friendly. Highly recommended

A brilliant day our with kids, it's like 4 theme venues rolled into one. A Zoo, farm, fair and lots of outdoor play areas and equipment. Great value and suitable for all ages. Something for everyone. Plenty of eateries and picnic areas etc and a lot under cover for rainy days. An absolute must visit! 😊

lovely park, quite a bit if money invested since we were last there. unfortunately it wasn't the best weather the day we choose to visit. Non the less the children all really enjoyed their day. lots to keep them occupied, from the barn with meet and greet the different animals every half an hour, to a really nice zoo area and the indoor climbing apparatus and fair rides.

An amazing day out! So much to see and do. The play areas are amazing and there are so many none is ever crowded. Not enough time in the day to do everything. Will definitely be going back next time I visit my brother.

This is am absolutely amazing place. You can easily spend the whole day here. We paid using Tesco vouchers, so worked out very cheap. They have an excellent indoor farm barn where you can even watch a goat being milked. Children can have a go at milking too. They also have a great zoo with some really nice animals. They have indoor and outdoor rides, ideal if the weather turns for the worse. They also have a tractor and tailor ride which the kids will love. I would definitely recommend it, if you are in the area you must attend.

Excellent place for the kids. Our 3 year old son loved it and was totally wiped out by the end of the day which is great! We're big kids so loved it too. Lots to do and very well spaced out so easy to get around with a fully loaded pram. Food was great and staff were very helpful. We were staying at Bluestone and we'll definitely go back to Folly Farm when we return next year. Highly recommended !!!

We love Folly Farm! We're annual pass holders so we get great value for money poping along every few weeks. The animals are varied and well kept and cared for, the indoor and outdoor play is well maintained and A LOT of fun! Fun fair rides cost extra, but we just set a small budget for our visit and the kids choose their favourite rides until the tokens have gone. Excellent value day out for all of the family.

A great day out!!! Really well priced especially if you purchase on line before arrival. The whole place is clean and organised with plenty to see and do. We were there with 3 children ranging from 5 - 8 and we spent over six hours looking around. The lions and pretty cool as are the rhinos. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area. There are lots of interactive areas where you can hold/feed the animals. Also any of the fair ground rides that are on site you do have to pay for but they are not at all expensive.

Far more than just a farm! We had a great day with the little one, despite the gloomy weather. There's plenty to do indoors and the whole place is really accessible and well thought out. Must be great on a sunny day! Plenty of choice for food and it's better than most similar places.

Fantastic day out with our 4 year old! So much to see and do, he was in heaven! All very compact and easy to navigate around. Well maintained. The vintage fun fair was fab and the adventure play areas have been done superbly. Only reason I couldn’t score folly farm five stars was that there was more payable extras than I’d anticipated but they were at least reasonably priced. Food options could be a little better too but taking a picnic would be more than ideal if we visit again

Honestly words can not express how impressed I was with this place. My little boy who is 3 loved it, if you are near this place you MUST visit. It was so clean with loads to do outside and in. I won't list everything this place has (will take too long) but the shout outs for me are: -real diggers for any kids over 1metre to control -petrol go karts -huge park boats with tube slides -loads of ride on toys -massive indoor fair which was massively impressive Not to mention all the animals which look very well looked after! An outstanding day and will definitely be returning and that comes from someone who travelled 5 hours to get there. Happy to try answer any questions you may have.

Always lots to see and do, it is worthwhile coming here especially with children. I have recently been this week with my niece and nephew and even though was very busy due to half term there was room to park the car, there were lots of things to see and do and although there were a few queues for some rides it was nothing compared to other amusement parks. There are lovely animals here to see as well as the indoor play areas. Lots of outdoors play areas as well so you can easily come with a picnic and spend a day here with so much to see and do. I would definitely have an idea of what you want to see and do before you arrive so if you have to queue while it's busy you won't miss anything. We also had an excellent sunny day as well which made it all the more easier.

Folly Farm is a brilliant place for a day out for a whole family. Our little one had most fun in the Jolly Barn where farm animals are more accessible and there is also an opportunity to touch some. The Jolly Farm has a little playground for little framers. Older kids will enjoy sensory garden where more exotic animals are shown, and for big kids (/adults) there is a Zoo with wild animals from different corners of the world. Zoo's biggest pride are Lions. And when you decide to do something else there is a Fun Fair with plenty to do for all ages, this includes a soft play area for the little ones. Our little family highly recommend it.

We love it here. Kids always enjoy and there’s so much to do we can’t get it all done in one day. It’s clean, well maintained and constantly being expanded and refreshed. There’s even enough indoor activities to keep you entertained on a wet day (and we get plenty of those in Wales)

Amazing park for toddlers. There's a farm yard where the kids can interact with the animals, a pretty impressive zoo, lots of outside attractions which are either free of very fairly priced. Inside there's a classic fairground, a wooden playground and a soft play. The kids 1 and 2 were entertained here for 7 hours. No problem. The food could be better, it's just cheap burger and chips, but it's still alright. I highly recommend this as a day out for families.

Fab day out for all ages! Lots to do for everyone, lovely walk around the park and then spent some time in the penny arcades. Well maintained and it was nice to see members of staff walking around should you need them. Also liked that they had designated smoking areas everywhere so that it was kept separate. Keep up to date with the times for meeting the animals as they can be easily missed.

A fantastic day out especially for little ones. The name really does not do it justice. There is so much more to the place than just a farm. My little one loved all the farm animals and the activities and talks in the barn. He spent a good while playing on many of the outdoor play areas, the pirate ship was a favourite. We took a tour on the tractor/train which was great. The only negative was the seagulls that divebomb anyone eating food, to be fair there are many signs saying not to leave food out and the bins were emptied regularly...its just that the gulls are cheeky and want to have your picnic!!

This is the best place to take your kids. Anywhere. Ever. Seriously, take your kids. It is just amazing. The zoo is great, much more than I was expecting and you can get really close to the animals. So many rides and fun fair games. Go karts. A petting farm. A land train to take you round the outdoor farm areas. At least four awesome l outdoor play areas, and one of the biggest indoor play areas I've ever seen. Plenty of good places to eat. Reasonably priced too, just bring plenty of cash to buy tokens for the rides and games.

Amazing zoo. All animals very well kept in large enclosures and lots of information about each animal. Food was very good but had to queue for a while. Very busy but managed well. Very impressed by the size of the indoor vintage fairground. There were well over 15 rides either 50p or £1 to ride. There were also a few outside rides including a go-cart track with petrol powered carts. The queue was quite long for this attraction however it quickly went down as there were two sets of carts and as one set was going round, the others were being filled. One of the biggest gift shops I have ever seen, with items for all the family. Entry was fast and if tickets were booked online, you saved 15%. Lots of staff who all looked happy to be working there and many different play areas for little ones. Would definitely go again as it was so fun and there was so much to do. Well done Folly Farm!!

What an amazing day out, I defy anyone to manage to do everything in the one day. Staff were all really friendly, park was spotlessly clean and there was so much to do. Definitely worth a visit. Large selection of animals to see. The fairground is well run and you didn't have to queue for long. We had refreshments from the burger bar where we found the staff friendly and efficient. Great coffee too!

Great family day out, suitable for all ages. Decent prices to get in, a lovely laid out park with a wide range of animals from farm dwellers to more exotic creatures like lions and rhinos. Pleasant indoor 1920's style fun fair, where each ride is at the most 2 tokens per person. (One token is 50p) Big indoor play area for younger kids where mum and dad can sit and have a coffee while also being able to keep an eye on the kids wherever they are in the play area as it is up high and open. Great gift shop although a little pricey as is any gift shop these days. Overall a fab day out!

This place simply surpasses any expectation you could have of it. We looked up 'things to do in the rain' and this topper the list. At the price we thought even if we only stayed a short while it would be worth it. We left at closing having not covered everything we wanted to. Everything is clean and in excellent condition. The 'Jolly Farm' has a wide range of animals in really well thought through containment (see ferrets and mice!) The zoo aspect is also amazing with a whole pride of lions, zebra, giraffe and rhinos to name but a few. Again, this place is worth its cover price alone for the indoor soft play, you just cannot imagine how good it is. And that is not to mention the outside play areas! If I lived closer I would have a season ticket and take my kids all the time.
