This farm is great for kids! lots of parking and easy accessible. For adults day trips I wouldn't recommend as it's very expensive just to walk round a farm. We mainly came for the puppy play but the 3 puppies were left to run around in a massive garden which meant we didn't even get to pet one. It was the kids who mainly got to hold the animals. Nice day out with your kids for sure but maybe skip it if you're two adults! also they run student nights only for adults at a discounted rate which would be 100% better. Lovely staff and gift shop onsite 👌
I could go here everyday my little boy and niece had a fantastic time here last Saturday 9/6/18. For my little boys 1st birthday. Nothing is to big or small for the staff for you to ask. I would recommend yous too anyone
This is a good entertaining venue for children. We were given bird seed to feed the fowl. There are lots of animals to see and interact with. There are also lots of play areas to suit all ages. The barrel rides are now included in the entry fee and the bonus is that grandparents pay in only once in the season. The staff are pleasant and we'll informed about their animal charges
If your looking for some family fun you can't go wrong with a visit here. Lots to see and do, you can spend a good 2-3hrs here. Staff are very informative band super friendly. While the bunnies and puppies get all the gooey cuddles there's much more to see. Cows, pigs, goats, hens, turkeys, Red deer and more... Oh and the mouse house too. Tractor trailer rides, barrel rides, soft play areas for the kids Lots to keep the little ones happy.
Such a lovely day out with the kids! staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and patient with the kids. The delightful staff paired with the lovely weather and abundance of activities made for an excellent family day out. Would recommend to any of my friends, or anyone with kids for that matter!
Excellent experience for little ones and adults alike! Activities for toddlers right up up to older kids, including petting chicks, rabbits and chickens, playing with puppies, a digger demonstration, indoor play area with bouncy castle for rainy days, outdoor play area, a duck pond, the list goes on. The cafe is great but there is also a burger barn and picnic areas. A must see for families
Fantastic experience. Lovely farm environment and deco. From toddlers to adults everyone can enjoy there. Very economical and friendly staff. Farm animals are maintained very well , clean and healthy. I liked the most that they are not commercial minded. You don’t need to pay extra for Tractor ride, barrels ride or to feed the animals like other places do.They allow you your own food in picnic area or you can buy from their cafe. Washbasins are everywhere to keep kids clean. Would like to visit again. Thanks.
We held my daughter's 5th birthday party in one of the party rooms here at Streamvale farm recently. Georgia from the farm guided our group around and made sure the kids got to see and do everything. The facilities within party room were excellent. The farm has made some more improvements to the site with a new entrance area and an enclosed eating area/cafe, all changes for the better. The staff were all friendly and Georgia's especially was really lovely and helpful and I would thoroughly recommend the children's party option at Streamvale to both family and friends alike.
Great place for a family visit. Varied programme on throughout the day and many things inside so rain is not an issue. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There are so many different play areas, activities and things to see. When we left, the car park had a huge number of cars in it, but because there was so much to do it did not feel busy at all. Food prices very reasonable. Highly recommended.
I have been coming here for years from my daughter was little - she is 22 now! It has grown and changed from then but is still a brilliant place to bring the kids or just for a fun day out. Was there over Easter and enjoyed the new Barn where we had our burgers and chips which were gorgeous! I cannot recommend Streamvale highly enough for a day out or even birthday parties
Visited at Easter, had a great time. The new indoor picnic area is great with the burger bar. The café near the entrance also amazing, that ice cream... The animals all seemed well taken care of, during the busiest day over Easter they didn't have every animal out but this made me like the place more, they didn't want to overstress their animals. Everyone was friendly even though it was mad busy. We will definitely visit again.
Great for kids. large farm with loads of animals. large play area for children. massive pumpkin patch at halloween where the kids can choose their own pumpkins. don't for get the tractor ride.
Great place to take the kids. The staff are very pleasant and are never too far away if you need them. The ice cream at the café is unreal, can't get enough of the stuff.
I love this place... Myself and my daughter (nearly 3) visit here every summer. They've recently done it up so it's even better! The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help you!
Very much worth the visit. This farm has expanded dramatically in the past few years. There are lots of different things to do and there are hundreds of animals to see, not to mention you can get to see the cows being milked in the parlour. Easily the largest open farm in the North. Friendly staff and a great location with some stunning views.
First time visiting today with my three grandchildren, what a fantastic day lots for everyone to see and do, the staff are very helpful and attentive to the children and adults. children loved collecting their pumkins from the field and getting them carved out by the staff🎃, the rides, seeing the animals and visiting the cafe. Fantastic experience will be back again soon. Would highly recommend go visit Streamvale Farm you will not be disappointed.
Everything you would see on a proper farm is made visible to children, even the milking. Its not a massive place and the walks short but that's what you want with small children as my little girl was exhausted by the end. With so many slides, go karts and play areas of all kinds for all ages inside I was able to spend quite a long time there even though it rained a lot and my daughter was very happy. They were also very helpful with heating my newborn sons milk and the ice cream was class! Was a great day out for a toddler with low stress for me and my wife, would recommend it to anyone
Great place for all the family. Certain times kids can give the lambs milk. Guides are friendly and informative and if it’s good enough for Alicia Keys and her daughter......
Firstly we arrived pleasantly as the farm was well signposted. Once we got there plenty of parking room. We had booked tickets online which made it very easy to get into the farm. Once in we got a very detailed map and list of timings for certain attractions. There was plenty to do for kids of all ages and as an adult I loved the tractor ride and seeing the animals. We spent a full afternoon here. Would advise it to anyone looking to have a good family day out.
Brilliant day out for adults and kids! Visited on a nursery trip with around 16 children. They all loved it and had a great time feeding and holding the animals. The lady that took us on our tour around was so friendly and helpful and really made the day for us. We got to see plenty of farm equipment and how the milking is done. Animals are really well cared for & it shows through out how well the farm is run. Definitely be back to visit.
