A first rate resource in beautiful setting. Would love to see opening hours extend into at least one evening.
Fantastic service throughout, from the busy Cafe to the shop and the displays, especially those that involve children in a fantastic and artistic way. Beautiful displays although i do miss some of the older paintings that have been replaced i thoroughly enjoy a day trip here, learning more and more on every visit.
Well varied exhibitions! We especially appreciated the art gallery number 1, the exhibition on gems as well as on Game of Thrones. Had a wonderful time and were impressed with the activity program offered for kids! Great job!
One of my all time favourite museums. It’s newly refurbished Troubles gallery is brave and does the topic justice. Highly recommend this museum to all I meet. Love the Game of Thrones Tapestry
Great museum and it's free, so remember to donate something at the end £5 is reasonable i think for 2-3 hrs of wonderful exhibits especialy the works of art on view
Been to museums in London Amsterdam Berlin and ulster museum was upto the standards. You can spend good amount of time in there with lots of activities for kids.
We have come to see the poppies on tour. Not disappointed, its beautiful. Of course can't resist a quick pop in to the museum, great coffee shop and the kids pack really involves the children who can't wait to tick off all the boxes with their findings. Another great visit and a bonus with the poppies.
Been here a few times. Liked the art section and the times they did the war section. Interesting to see the weapons and letters from soldiers who may have passed due to the war. Really hit home to me.
Visit today to a busy Ulster Museum. Impressive Game of Thrones tapestry exhibition on the top floor well worth a visit if your are a fan. One long piece on linen and plenty of detail in the images.
great museum with interesting artefacts. they have boxes for donations rather than charging a fee. my 2 boys loved the dinosaurs and the old toys
Visited this museum with the family. As soon as you walk in the front door there is a big money pot asking for a donation, this is because it is free admission. Please put what you can in the pot because believe me you will not be disappointed. There is loads to see and it is very rare these days to come across a museum like this which is free of charge. We absolutely loved and you will too.
