Calm. Soothing. Relaxing. Nap time. This is wear I take a nap. I have ninety minutes in between Bio and Poly-sci that I take full advantage of its isolation and snooze. Of course I wear sunglasses to cover my eyes because the last time I got caught snoozing they kicked me out. Ohm.

Used to come here a lot. It is very beautiful but it used to be free. Five dollars ($5) for adults and $2 for kids. For that price I would do an all day trip to the Japanese Garden in Van Nuys. The garden is too small to pay $5..

Beautiful place to relax and unwind. The small cost of admission is worth the visit. They give you some koi food to throw out in the pond as well.

It was smaller then I expected, but a fun time taking my grandson and daughter to feed the koi fish.

For $5 it's a nice excursion. Perfect for a date night. Very beautiful grounds, well manicured. 30-45 minutes max but for the price you can't go wrong.

This garden is just as beautiful as the university! It is also peaceful and relaxing, and even the ducks, koi fish, and people who work there have became my friends after coming here a couple of times!

Had soo much fun at this beautiful little garden, and the koi pond was amazing. There some big Koi, one of the biggest is a 20year old female, she is bigger than my dog! I recommend this to everybody!

There is something about a Japanese garden that allows you to wind down and absorb a quiet zenful moment you so deserve. A perfect place to get away from your day-to-day scheduled life. Such a peaceful getaway. Try it, you will like it.

This place is absolutely BREATH TAKING. It is a small piece of paradise. Great for kids! If you dont have kids bring a book, homework, or a friend to just hang out and chit chat.

Best place at CSULB. I often go to this garden to just relax and to feed the fishes in the pond. The oherall area of the garden is pretty small but well planned and executed. If it's your first time you can ask the people at the info desk to give you a tour. Must go place at Cal State Long Beach.

A magical place to have Mother's Day brunch! If you ever get a chance to have Mother's Day brunch here you should jump at it! Is so beautiful watching the koi swim in the pond and hearing soft music play in the background. We even saw a blue heron eat a koi!

First, this is a really lovely garden, well worth the visit. It's very small, but it's so well designed and laid out, that it feels spacious. Upon entering, you feel the tranquility in your bones. The plantings are lovely, and there are a great many happy, fat koi to watch and feed.

Small garden but packed with plenty of beauty! They have a ton of koi fish ranging from very large to small. The koi fish are used to being feed by visiting guest, so they come right up to you at the edge of the water. It’s also a great place to take pictures!
