L'AquaDom, inauguré en décembre 2003, se trouvait dans le hall d'entrée de l'hôtel Radisson à Berlin, dans le quartier de Mitte.
Il s’agissait du plus grand aquarium du monde intégré à un hôtel et incluant un récif de corail. Constitué d'un gigantesque cylindre de verre acrylique de 25 mètres de haut et 9 mètres de diamètre, il dominait de son imposant volume tout l'intérieur de l'immeuble et abritait 1 500 poissons tropicaux qui nageaient dans un million de litres d'eau salée. Il était possible d'accéder à la partie supérieure grâce à un ascenseur installé au centre du cylindre.
Why 5 stars? Because they have 2 legendary Pokémon! Sorry, I meant sea animals, which are horseshoe crab & axolotl, which I always wanted to see. Also, it exceeded my expectations; I thought it was only made of the tunnel (elevator), it actually took me ~2 hours to go through the whole aquarium + the tunnel (elevator).

The aquarium was decent. It wasn't that big nor was the sea life selection impressive. The staff need more training on communicating with tourists. The AquaDom it self was pretty cool.

My son wants to come back there again and again every year on vacations :) this place has a great offer for whole families - fantastic expositions, interactive fun with a little of science :)

I loved it ! One of the best attractions in Berlin ❤️ I love Berlin in general but this one was so cool , I'm biased cause I am sea life fan Recommended for sea life fans and kids Unfortunately I haven't taken any photos

Location = great Staff = very friendly Size = small place that takes 1 floor Decor = built to resemble sea life - special lighting, special attributes inside fish tanks, crab tanks are built in the form of huge crabs The ticket also includes a ride in an elevator inside the tallest fish tank in the world - super experience

Why 5 stars? Because they have 2 legendary Pokémon! Sorry, I meant sea animals, which are horseshoe crab & axolotl, which I always wanted to see.
