Hamburger Bahnhof is the former terminus of the Berlin–Hamburg Railway in Berlin, Germany, on Invalidenstrasse in the Moabit district opposite the Charité hospital. Today it serves as a contemporary art museum, the Museum für Gegenwart, part of the Berlin National Gallery.
The station was built to Friedrich Neuhaus's plans in 1846/47 as the starting point of the Berlin–Hamburg Railway. It is the only surviving terminus building in Berlin from the late neoclassical period and one of the oldest station buildings in Germany.

In fact as an ex central station of Berlin, this museum is worth to visit. The nice architecture and some modern arts are really main objects why we visited this museum. There will always a tour for free in English (12 pm) or German every Sunday.

Not as big as you'd think. Some interesting modern art and sculpture but lots of empty space. Maybe between special exhibitions?

Amazing collection and nice layout; however, it is a small gallery so don't expect to spend too much time inside.

Short walk from Berlin Central train station. Easy to find. Very reasonably priced considering the vast amount of art works here. 14 euro to see everything including the temporary exhibitions, keep your ticket handy as the staff scan it at various sections. Plenty of clean bathrooms and a busy but efficient restaurant serving coffee, cakes and full hot meals. Staff speak english and are always close by to help. You can take photos without the flash. Some very important and well known artists on display with a vibrant schedule for temporary exhibitions featuring new talent. Be prepared to wander for at least an hour and a half.

Best museum I’ve ever been to. Staff is super friendly and speaks English very good. They are very nice and helpful. Exhibitions are cool and there’s a lot of them so anybody can choose something they are interested in. Definitely must see, even if your not a fan of contemporary art.
