Berlin Concert Hall in Gandarmenmark is the most beautiful and impressive monument in Berlin. I really enjoyed the performance, atmosphere, and its interior design. The staff were polite and friendly but the only thing that really surprised me was that the performance brochure before the performance was presented just in German language! It seemed that art tourists were not taken into consideration at all.

Nice venue, but patrons are chatting and do flash photography during concerts. Nobody intervenes.

We visited here during Christmas vacation and here is a Christmas market! Although you need to pay 1 euro to get in, the environment is clean and less crowded than other market. There is a performance stage in the center of the market and people were dancing and enjoying the show there. Really recommend to visit here during Christmas.

Konzerthaus is one of the landmark buildings situated between Französischer Dom and Deutscher Dom at Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin. Built originally as a theatre house between 1818 and 1821, its function has been that of a concert hall since the post WWII era. Konzerthaus is neo-classical in style with an impressive column lined portico, decorative pediment as well as a bronze Quadriga figure atop the building. It is an attractive building to see even if you are not planning on attending a concert during your visit to Berlin. Note: During the annual Christmas Market at Gendarmenmarkt, Konzerthaus was well lit up at night time and quite nice to see as apart of the market experience.
