Very low key park with a huge monument to the Soviet soldiers of World War II for their liberation of Berlin. One of the few monuments to the USSR left in the modern world.

The sheer size of this memorial is worth the visit. It's such a quiet place in a busy city surrounded by green. Definitely worth the visit.

I didn't expect this memorial to be that huge!!!! It's an entire part of the park. There is a mausoleum and it is a cemetery too. Really interesting.

Beautiful monument of great historic importance, surrounded by a quiet green park that invites for a leassure time in the nature. The statue of the Soviet soldier shows high artistic qualities. Definitely one of the best places to go in Berlin and a must see for every visitor!

Treptower Park was my favourite place to go and see in Berlin; it was quiet, beautiful and easy to get to. There were barely any people there so the visit was peaceful and I managed to get lots of great pictures. Definitely go if you have the time.

Very impressive monument that is absolutly massive in scale. Worth seeing, and the bike through the park to get there is really nice as well.

Stunning view right in the middle of Berlin. The memorial gives you and impression of USSR style and propaganda. The memorial is situated right next to a park, making it a great visit before or after a picnic.

Awesome Sowjet style memorial and burial site for some thousand Sowjet soldiers that died during the battle for Berlin. The history surrounding the place is very interesting.

Great monument, it is huge and hidden in the heart of Berlin... after you can do a great walk by the river

This impressive and extensive park and monument was well worth visiting. It is recommended

This place and a mysterious and grand feel about it. When entering you are presented with a large memorial but with little flair. Two large statues direct your eyes to a third even grander statue at the far end. It is a sight to see and very beautiful. This memorial is for the fallen Russian soldiers from WWII.

Such a good place to visit in Berlin! The monument is probably the only tribute to the Russian influence you will find, and it's staggering. The atmosphere is almost surreal. It's located in Treptower Park, so after the visit you can enjoy some time to chill by the river.

it feels like a vision of the far future from the recent past. this park is built in a scale that would suit giants and it will make you feel like youre on a different planet, or inside the handmaids tale.

It took a long time until I heard of this place. I was surprised when I arrived. It is a huge area, quiet and inviting to stay and explore for a while.

Not listed as a top site to see in guides I looked at, but luckily people I met recommended it. It was restored several years ago by the German government, which by treaty is responsible for its upkeep (and others of course). It is impressive and worth a trip. The park surrounding it is good for walks, runs, cycling, etc. and the area near the river and S Bahn station has little food, coffee, and ice cream places. For photographers, the main monument statue is facing west, so better to photograph in the afternoon or evening. There is however a section with a statue representing the grieving motherland surrounded by trees, which faces east, but I wasn't upset to not get good photos of it.

Beautiful and surreal. It's pretty beyond words as far as just walking around it goes. I reccomend going around sunset when most other touristy things are closing. It's pretty underrated as an attraction in Berlin. Usually not very crowded.

One of the most imposing and humbling places I've ever been in my life - the scale is just massive, and with the paving stones being made of smashed Nazi monuments it really puts the scourge of fascism in context. I was moved to tears by this awe inspiring place. Please visit and take some time to think.
