This was a wonderful representation of Basque history and culture. The man who sold us our ticket at the front was incredibly friendly and kind. We talked for a long time about the Basque in Bilbao. I enjoyed looking at the museum displays but do note that very little is in English. Most is in Basque and Spanish.

Pretty interesting. Would be great if these people would use their history and culture to add up to the greatness of the country instead of trying to divide it for the benefit of a handful of lunatics.

Museo itzela, berez oso erabatekoa. Gidek lan txukuna egiten dute, libreki aritzeko informazio osatuarekin. Merezi du. Eta kokapena erabat esangiratsua, alde zaharreko bihotzean.

I was really looking forward to visit this museum as my knowledge is very minimum about the history of the Basques. The museum is free and looks very well run. Unfortunately, all the information is in either in Spanish or in Basque and not in English. As a tourist, my Spanish does not extend further than, ‘Thank you’ and ‘Please’. Therefore visiting the museum was time wasted. If you speak Spanish or Basque, I am sure the information provided would be very informative.

This is a very well organized museum, displaying detailed history of Basque. Very informative for whoever's interested in the unique Basque culture. I was there twice yet still not had enough time to look through everything. I'll definitely come back in the future ^^ The ticket is 3 euros, and with student discount it's only 1.5 euros. It's free every Thursday. The description is mostly in Basque and castellano.

I appreciated the window into Basques culture, although if English is your primary language don't go in expecting to be able to read the explanations.
