Best culinary experience ever. Very satisfied with taste, textures, attention and coziness that this restaurant has to offer.
A great place to celebrate with special ppl. The flavors were super A+ and the attention was fantastic
Food and cocktails were amazing, very exotic with authentic Colombian ingredients. The chef wasn't too friendly, but I guess she was busy. Totally recommended
Overall, I was satisfied with the meal and most of everything. I'm a generous rater but that is because I understood the concept and what went into this meal. While it isn't a knock your socks off total foodie heaven, it is more of a cultural journey in which I really do appreciate. Pros: The service was phenomenal even in English, the restaurant was beautiful and the plateware was some of the nicest I've seen in awhile. The food was good and interesting in many aspects, I did enjoy the locality and history to it as well as eating interesting items such as the ants, and capybara meat, I always appreciate a first time for things. The other items that were interesting was the coffee alcohol which was weird because it was so oddly familiar and the coco leaf alcohol. Cons: Pairings aren't as matched as say in French or Italian style but they were interesting. The biggest disappointing thing was the vanilla receipt envelope. For everything else to be wonderful and then be handed a vanilla receipt holder surprised me in a bad way.
Amazing multi course meal with ingredients you have likely never heard of or even tried. Everything was delicious and the wine/beverage pairings were excellent. It is one of the few times that the pairing has elevated and clarified what the chef was trying to say with each dish. The night we were there, service started out a bit rocky but cleared itself up pretty quickly. The staff was professional and courteous but not stuffy. They were more than will to indulge us by giving explanations in both Spanish and English. Also an amazing value compared to this quality in places like Europe or America. Only drawback was the loudness of the stereo system – try asking for a table away from the speakers near the bar.
