Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, DAS).
Wonderful place if you want to get some exotic stuff from Colombia and another countries like Mexico or Peru, great prices and an amazing variety of products. I recomend this place as the biggest market on the city. If you visit Bogota, Paloquemao will help you to taste a little of South America.

A content rich local market. Worth a look to see what local gets. I was warned by a very kind tax driver to wear backpack in front. Thanks god, we didn't encounter any trouble.

Possibly the best market in Bogotà. If you get there very early you'll pick up the best fruit, vegetables, meat and fish in town. You do have to know how and where to buy as prices can be higher than usual. With a bit of practise you'll save a lot of money.

It's a huge open air as well as covered market. The flowers availability is fantastic and at great prices when compared with other world cities. The covered portion offers quality meats..from chicken, duck, pork, beef, goat ,a variety of seafood with great prawns !! Seasonal fruits and other exotic Amazonian fruits, good fresh vegetables. Cooked and semi cooked foods, dry fruits, spices and everything else you re looking for. A veritable grand market. A MUST visit for tourists to Bogota and of course the natives. Has a feel of the big markets of Istanbul and Calcutta.

This farmer's market is one of the best in Bogotá. Nowadays crowds of foreign tourists are taken here to see this cool place. A variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. It is a convenient place to go grocery shopping every day but better go in the morning. You can try haggling. You can eat breakfast or lunch here. Don't leave without drinking a fresh glass of fruit juice. Bring your camera to make incredible photographs and you can buy souvenirs like bags or coffee. You can buy a lot of different things for your kitchen.

Great market to visit in Bogota if you are after fresh fruit and veg whilst in the city. There is a butchers in there also if you are looking for meat to buy also and plenty of smaller other stalls that sell all the house holds bots and pieces that you may need from cleaning products to mops. There is also a seafood section that looked pretty good, with a decent variety of fish to select from. There is also a couple of small restaurants within the market to grab a bite to eat of you get hungry whilst browsing all the different stalls.

An authentic farmers market in Bogota with loads of fruit, vegetables, beef, chicken, pork and fish, not to mention traditional Colombian street food. Not so authentic, however, that you won't run into groups of tourists and tourists guides.
