Park Street Church, founded in 1804, is a historic and active evangelical congregational church in Downtown Boston, Massachusetts. The Park Street Church is a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. Typical attendance averages over 2,000 people across all Sunday services. Church membership records are private, but the congregation has over 1,200 members. The church is located at 1 Park Street, at the corner of Tremont Street.
Park Street Church is a stop on Boston's Freedom Trail. The founding of the church is dated to 1804 when the "Religious Improvement Society" began weekly meetings with lectures and prayer. The society organized the church on February 27, 1809. Twenty-six local people, mostly former members of the Old South Meeting House, wanted to create a church with orthodox Trinitarian theology.

Third stop during our self-guided Freedom Trail walking tour. Great reading about its historic significance but couldn't really fully appreciate it because it was closed during our visit, plus most of the building was scaffolded.

I have been attending the church my whole life. Everyone one is very welcoming and the sermons are amazing. I suggest coming and giving it a try and to meet some new people.

Great church that is very involved in the Boston community and with helping the poor. Very transitional church as many members come and go due to school etc.

We attended an 8:30am service the day before the marathon. We were blessed by the worship and teaching.

When we went, we there on a Sunday and luck would have it, we were there right in the middle of a service. Because, they prefer to have little distraction during the service, they offer a live view camera on a big screen to watch and see what it looked like. Opening to the public started later but we could not stay and wait for that.
