Just checked out from The Lenox Hotel, Boston this morning. It was a great (!!!) stay. Clean, comfortable, nice amenities, very good room service and walking distance to the Prudential, shopping, Fenway Park, Boston Commons and wonderful restaurants (don’t miss Abe and Louie’s but being your wallet). My wife and I have been to Boston many, many times over the years and have always stayed at a Marriott or Hilton. This time we decided to try the Lenox and were not at all disappointed. It is a wonderful boutique hotel with a great staff. Mike, one of the front desk clerks and Peter one of the bell men treated us like we had stayed there a hundred times and were old friends. We could not have been happier with the Lenox and we highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

The room is spacious and clean. The service is fantastic. They give you complimentary water, and when we asked if we could get a diet Coke at the concierge desk, it was no problem at all. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

On our last stay, we came for a 1 nights birthday getaway. We did mention in the reservation of course that it was a birthday celebration. We arrived a few hours prior to check in and were told it would just be a few minutes. While we were waiting, one of the bell hops chatted us up and found out we were expecting our first child in May. Before we brought us to our room he gave us the most adorable monkey stuffed animal for "the little guy". When we got to our room he kindly put away our luggage, hung our jackets, made sure we had everything we need. Waiting for us in the room was a slice of absolutely delicious carrot cake and a birthday card. Not only do they have the best customer service around, but the hotel is beautiful and has a great restaurant and bar. We made the mistake of not making a brunch reservation (the breakfast pizza is the best) and we're told it'd be an hour wait, that's how busy City Table was on a frigid Sunday morning. If you are looking for a too notch stay in a great neighborhood (close to everything!) you should absolutely pick the place!

Top notch staff including the doorman, valet, bellman, security, housekeeping, restaurant and front desk. This hotel does a great job providing service that hotels should provide. For a high end hotel, lots of nice extras like complimentary water in room, complimentary hot choco in the evenings, cookies at front desk and coffee service. Keep doing this Lenox! Don't let accountants tell you to stop with the extras. Business travelers like me love this. Room was large and comfortable. Even had a real fireplace. I think that may be a service they provide. City Bar, Irish Bar and Restaurant are all good. Really don't have to leave the property.

Awesome boutique hotel pricey at $ 300 per night but if nostalgia is your weakspot, the the Lenox might be for you. I was in room 1018 which has a king bed in a small room. It had a fridge, safe, umbrella, two bath robes but no coffee maker upstairs. There are two coffee tea dispensers in the lobby however serving decent coffee. The subway train is only 100 feet away at Copley station. This is where the boston marathon finish line is situated.

Besides our room smelling of potatoes from the pub downstairs, HOLY DELIGHT! Love love loved this hotel. All of the employees were so kind, responsive and helpful our whole time there. Big shout out to Izzy, Raul from engineering and Stephanie from concierge for being a blessing and a half! Also, a huge thanks to all the lovely gentleman out front in valet. Thank you for a great experience in Boston!

Went for drinks at the bar. The atmosphere is cozy, and service was fine. It was a little smaller than I would hope. It also wasn't clear that we could get table service for drinks. But they were super cool about it. Drinks were made well enough, no short-pouring or other annoying habits. Overall a respectable place for a cocktail if you want to avoid the over-crowded places nearby.
