Took the Land Train from Bridlington to Sewerby and found the lovely little village a short walk away. Given a quiz on entry for things to find + count. Only had 1 hour and would have liked a little longer as so much to see. Owners very friendly. Cafe, parking and toilets on site.Recommend to anyone with children. Although I am a Grandma and I enjoyed it. 5*
What an amazing little place, it's very well done. There was a quiz to do too which was great fun for the kids. Don't know of a place like this anywhere else. It doesn't take very long to go around though. I would still recommend it though as we enjoyed it, just something a bit different.
If you have a young family, enjoy modelling or are just big kid's you'll like this place. As the name suggests it's a model village that has been cleverly designed and laid out it's features include a castle ,railways, harbour, river, hospital, church and lots lots more. You can take part in a quiz as you meander around searching for clues on the way. It has a small tea room and gift shop and toilet facilities. It has car parking space. It's located in Sewerby village and can be reached by road or alternatively by the land train which runs regularly between Sewerby Hall and Bridlington.
Very well presented model village but it's definitely not worth the admission fee of £4 each, £8 it cost us our son was free because he's only 2 years old thank god. It's a 10 minute walk round but the owner says you can walk round again and again but once you've seen everything there's no point in walking round again. It's a shame the train wasn't working because my son loves trains so we left feeling underwhelmed.
We had a great morning over at Bondville! The owners are lovely and the models are brilliant, we went round this three times and kept finding new things every time! It's also a bargain for entry, 2 adults and 2 kids is £10 all in. Well worth the drive up! Chatting with the owner before we left and they are hoping to add some additional models soon which should be pretty cool too!!!!
Lovely, family friendly and so much attention to detail. Walk around a few times and you appreciate the displays and models even more. You can see how much work goes into maintaining the models and also plants and borders
Really good day out, nice walk around, and then a quick walk around the cliffs which is just outside the model village. Lovely day enjoyed, and will be coming back in the summer to look at the new buildings being put in! Very friendly owner as well!! Love the quizzes as it gives you a chance to look at things in more detail and appreciate it more!
Excellent display of a traditional model village. Many fine examples of thatched cottages, pubs, shops, old fashioned garages, churches, a railway line, river, mariner with old boats, cricket ground, bowling green, church with wedding scene and bells ringing and much, much more. Too much to list. Well worth a visit for any family with children or not. With entrance fee of just £3.00 for adults and also a very decent cafe/snack bar Free parking!!
One of few Dog friendly attractions near Flamborough. Lovely activity to share with family and friends. Nice little cafe as well with really nice food.
Extremely welcoming staff very polite and professional. We took our two young children and they really enjoyed it and got a lolly and Sticker at the end would highly recommend
Fantastic place to go. Can’t wait to go again and see what’s changed and what’s new. Kid love exploring and looking at the details. Good quizz to make sure you don’t miss anything. Also a nice little gift shop and cafe too. Highly recommend 10/10
Fantastic looking model village. We could only view it from the gate as it has had a delayed opening due to the weather. However, from what we saw, this place looks amazing. It has many streets and houses all painted authentically, a train station and tracks going around the village and through a tunnel, a harbour and many other attractions. Definitely worth a visit!! Will be back again soon!
Fantastic Model Village!!! I can’t believe The attention to detail and dedication that has gone into making this Model Village. The owners spend months painting and gardening to make this place so special and it’s the only one of its kind in the area. Brilliant place to take the kids especially when the sun is shining. Then there is a lovely tea room and toy shop on site. We catch the land train from outside the leisure centre to Bondville- makes a good day out for everyone. We highly recommend it. FIVE STARS. 😁
Very nice and friendly venue. Sadly too small (pun intended). It takes 25 mins to walk around. But you can go round as many times as you want which is very nice. If it had an outdoor play area and indoor soft play it would be perfect.
Came for easter and they had a comp on the kids loved finding all the chicks. Great day out
Brilliant! An absolute hidden gem, very detailed and perfect for taking little people around. We went round twice to see it all. Has a tea room as well with outdoor seating. Didn't try the food but drinks were good, reasonably priced and does an afternoon tea as well.
Really well done model village, great detail on all the buildings and features, maybe not the best place for toddlers (ours just wanted to be part of all the attractions!!). We spent about 20-30 minutes here but could easily have been here longer. Great access throughout for wheelchairs and prams. Nice little cafe attached to the site too.
Amazing place. So much to see. Details on buildings really great. Definitely a must. Great price too. Staff really friendly. Just a good old fashioned attraction. Takes around 45mins to an hour for a good look round but thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Like I said good old fashioned fun.
