Amazing place. I think I enjoyed it even more than the kids. Staff are very welcoming and helpful and clearly know what they're talking about. Will definitely visit again soon.
A fairly small but cozy place for a family day out. Don't rush around, as you can probably do that in 45 minutes. Visit their website, take note of shows that are on. Make a plan to have a picnic in the nice area put aside just for this and make sure you see the excellent shows put on by great people with beautiful animals.
Great Place to go especially as it's not to far from Bridlington. all the animals are all well looked after and the staff and owner are very passionate about what they do. the only thing that was kind of a let down as some of the enclosures made it nearly impossible to see the animals inside of them. trying to get a decent picture of the meerkats or even to see them was difficult due to the distance from the fence to the enclosure and the same again for a lot of the birds enclosure. The bird of prey showcase was a great way not only to see these amazing animals but also very educating and the owl handling is amazing to do especially because it's included in the generally price where as most places would make it an add on.
It is more of an animal place than birds now! However the lovely barn owl is very friendly! Well worth a visit! Entry fee is cheap! Would have paid more! Gave a donation as had a private session with the barn owl! Amazing! Made my birthday extra special!! Nothing is too much trouble for the people that run the park!
Brilliant day out. Very knowledgable staff. Excellent flying displays. They’re currently expanding and building an African Plains area. Spent about 5 hours here in total with my two kids aged 5 and 3. Highly recommended
Amazing little place. Very friendly & it's obvious they care a great deal about their animals and birds. Kids loved holding snakes & lizards & even holding owls & birds of prey. Loved it 😀
Excellent bird of prey photography workshop. The handlers know how to place the birds so that it looks like you’re getting a natural shot. This also included an owl sitting in your head if you wanted it to. Great value for money. Will go again. The animal park looks great for families with children too
Fantastic place to visit. Bird show highly recommended. None of the birds tethered. Clean, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit. Can come out and go back in for more extra charge. Owner, very passionate.
Really lovely people here who all work on a voluntary basis to look after the animals. My favourites are the owls and the parrots. My daughter likes the donkeys. Well worth a visit.
Such a lovely day! The staff were so friendly and encouraged questions. The flying display was informative and fun, you can see how much they love their birds and in turn their birds love them. Would recommend to everyone.
Great experience for the kids at a great price there is also some what of a farm experience to be enjoyed aswell with pigs, alpaca, pony, bulls all to be fed and very friendly. There is more on the site you can camp, shop, icecream, cafe plenty to do and plenty of fun to be had I have been many times now kids never get board. When you are with the birds the children get lots of time holding them everybody gets at least one turn and you are in no way rushed the flying demonstrations are brilliant.
I visited the park a few weeks ago with a friend and our children. I appreciate that there had been a lot of rain, but the poor pigs enclosure was thick mud, their legs were almost completely sunk up to their stomachs. The only 'clean' area was the small shed area in which they slept, but as we couldn't see in there and considering the state of the enclosure I doubt that was clean. In addition the troughs were full of mud too with no evidence of water being available to them. I will be contacting and passing these pictures onto the RSPCA.
Been here many times before. Always have a fantastic time. This time however was different, I visited with my service user who is autistic the staff we're absolutely AMAZING, they made us feel very welcome and looked after us brilliantly. I would highly recommend a visit especially if your a support worker looking for a great day out with your service user. A massive thank you to all the staff for making my service user feel so very welcome.
Lovely place, lovely staff! Been going for the last 2 years around 8 times a year and the staff know this and remember your face animals are gorgeous and number 1 to all the staff which is very important, could not recomend this place enough
Passionate staff with a great knowledge of their birds. Thanks for a great day. May you go from strength to strength.
A fun and affordable family day out. We will be back to see all of the demonstrations. Try out some of the experiences and introduce our family. Love what these guys are doing.
We have just left Bridlington wildlife and bird of pray center . It was - 1 deg all day but we had a great day . Kept popping to the cafe for a warm and back for the next display. It's really hands on and we hand fed emu. Wallaby, pig, alpaca, donkey, sheep, .and held the reptiles You can have the glove on and hold the birds.something every half an hour . All this and more for a adult charge of 5. 95 . For a full day entertainment . Worth every penny . Thanks to Paul and staff and volunteers. Well worth the trip
I loved this place and will definitely be back once its warmer. During the wetter season, I'd recommend wrapping up warm and walking shoes are a bonus. The birds are clearly all loved and very well looked after.
