I love this place for all their facilities, books, activities and the people who work there are so nice. In particular, I have two kids who love to come to the Corner which is fantastic. You can just come and borrow some books or a computer. You can also just chill seating on the couch, read your favourite book or even just take a nap. There is also live music for kids on Saturdays and the staff changes the theme of the play area maybe every month in the Corner. It also has great views to the river and city center. It is perfect to come and study by yourself or with friends and work on projects.

Great place to go and study or do some work. Selection of interesting spaces to work in with great views over the river or quiet corners. The only problem is everyone else’s seems to know this already as well! Would recommend getting there early to avoid the crowds and get your spot!

Great that the library has interesting exhibitions from time to time. Visited the magnificent makers, inventors of Queensland exhibit on the 4th level - nice reads.

Great place. Fantastic ambience. Good collection and helpful staff. Would love to work there so much I'd probably do it for free (just because of the atmosphere),

Unlimited wi-fi, a place to use power and internet, either use your electronic devices or use their modern computers to go online, very peaceful and relaxing area to not only charge your devices but to recharge your body energy as well.

One of the best Library in Queensland! State Library, apart from the size and quality of books available, is one of the best examples of modern architecture. The Building was inaugurated on 25 Nov 2006 and was designed by Brisbane-based architecture firms Donovan Hill and Peddle Thorp. It has won awards for its quality architecture and interior design as well. A must-visit place in Brisbane.

This is one of the best libraries I have been too. Plenty of study space, computers to use and the view is great too.. I really like that they have different groups and areas of the library The business Studio is a good hangout as well as the Edge which is a studnet hangout. Good vibes all round. 10/10 would recommend

Had a spare afternoon in Bris and was walking past and decided to have a look. Was very glad I did, amazing views, great facilities and very helpful staff. Even if dont live anywhere near Brisbane they will send books to your local library for collection and you can drop them back to your local library all free of charge to join library and for them to deliver to wherever you are in the state. Great to relax in the very cosy corners or study at the countless desks and nooks. Whether your doing academic research, just browsing, studying or just relaxing this place is great. Not just a huge selection of books but also online resources along with many journal subscriptions which is great if you no longer have access to your old universities databases anymore. All completely Free.... Well done Queensland

The most inspiring library I've been to... the Asia Pacific Design Library is an incredible, ever-updated resource, and I love the future-focussed facilities and workshops offered at The Edge.
