Great place to stay. Reasonable prices and really great and friendly service. The room I stayed in was very neat and the bed was very comfortable. The ceiling had a nice space design with back lighting. They had soundproof windows to block-out the noise from the valley. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed in the deluxe king room in February 2018. The room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. It far exceeded my expectations for the very low price we paid, and for such a great location. The manager was welcoming and went out of her way to look after us. It’s clear that these owners have been working hard to refurbish the hotel, and their work is really paying off. I understand that some of the rooms are not yet refurbished – but again – they are incredibly cheap for such a great location, and even the older parts of the hotel are very clean, cosy, and charming with their original features. This is a budget hotel – but it’s also charming, clean, individual, in a great location and I would definitely recommend it. We’ll be returning.
In a "colourful" part of Brisbane, but only 7 minutes walk from Fortitude Valley station. There were homeless people and a few interesting clubs between the station and the hotel, but I never felt intimidated nor threatened walking (even at 10pm). The location is very convenient; being on the Brisbane Airport to Gold Coast line, as well as being only 1 stop from downtown and 3 stops from Southbank Parklands. The room was clean and comfortable, with a (very basic) free breakfast in the morning.
