The boat ride is well worth the 8 euro price. The person driving the boat also gives some useful information about important building sites along the way. Great opportunity to see some nice scenery. However the romance did get lost a little simply due to the extremely crowded boat, although I understand why it has to be this way

A fantastic trip in and around the canals of Bruges! This is a must if you’re visiting the town as you get to see the place from a different view than the streets and it gives you a better feel for the town! Very reasonably priced too with adults only costing €8 each for about a half hour of a tour. Really enjoyed this and our tour guide was lovely! Tip your pilot, folks! ☺️

Great way to see Brugge! Friendly staff, tour was given in French and English. Boats might seem a little crowded but it's cosy and adds to the experience I think. For €8 it's definitely worth doing if you go here. Watch out for that low bridge!

Lovely enjoyable tour of the canals in Bruges. Cost 8euros each and I think worth it. Tour guide very informative. Only down side was they really pack you in and felt a bit crowded on board..trying to see the sights over a bald head..ha ha ! Recommended 😊

A really fantastic boat trip and tour, plus at €8 per adult for a 40 minute tour, it is excellent value! Our tour guide was excellent and gave the tour in three languages! The route we took was excellent and you really get an excellent feel for Bruge when you travel by boat! Well worth it!!

The tour guide was sweet and friendly, seeing the city from the canal was well worth it, too. It's nice and relaxing to pass by all the major places in the city from a relaxing ride. My grandma can't walk that much, so the boat was good for her.

Did 2 canal boat trips, one Brugge, one Ghent, loved them both, but enjoyed Ghent slightly more. Think it depends on the guide you get.. Both beautiful places & boat trip an experience everyone should do.

It's very nice trip. You can see popular building while passing through river. Captain speaks English. There is audio guide on boats and it includes German English Dutch language. It presents about information of structures around. Trip takes 30 minutes. It costs 8€. I waited 20 minutes to get on boat there was a long line. Most of tourist would like to join. I recommend too.

I wasn’t sure at first to take the boat ride, but I can tell you that it is a must when you’re in Brugues, although the boats can get a little bit crowded, the trip is not that long. You can see a lot of the beautiful buildings of the city and the tour guide give you interesting information about the places you see. They also speak several languages like German, Spanish and French. Highly recommend!

This was my favorite thing in Bruges!! Absolutely loved it, our guide was amazing and spoke in both English and French during our trip. This is such a cool way to see the city from a different perspective.

Great little boat ride up and down the river through Brugge with multilingual commentary from the captain. They like to cram the boats full, but at only €8 per adult and €4 for a child, totally worth it. Compare that to the €50 horsedrawn carriage rides and this is a bargain! Get in line as soon as possible, as it can get busy on sunny days.

You can have a wonderful boat ride here. It's 30 minutes ride for just 8 euros (in 2018-06) and you will never regret. A detailed description will be given by the skipper throughout the ride. We enjoyed a lot...

If you are a tourist and you want to just enjoy the overall vibe of the place. You should definitely do it! Passing through the cool canals, having glimpses of swans, rowdy ducks and their cute duckling, and being surrounded by art makes you appreciate the little old town. The hosts and drivers of the boats are charming, can speak atleast three languages and very jovial. Value for money, its not bad, 8 EUR for 30 mins.

The best thing you can do in Brugge if you have limited time. You see most of the beautiful historic spots with a quick description bt the guide.

This is an excellent little tour of some of the canals through Brugge. We were lucky enough to board with a lot of English speakers so the information relayed by the boat driver was done in English. He was informative as well as hilarious. It’s a beautiful ride, despite the boat being crammed as full as possible. I very much enjoyed the tour and it is a great price.

If you want to hear about the history of Bruges and watch beautiful buildings at the same time, you must definitely go on a boat trip! Our captain had a wicked sense of humour, we extremely enjoyed the half -hour trip. Be prepared to wait for quite long time for the boats, though.

Would 100% recommend. As Brugge can get extremely crowded (especially on week ends!), it's nice to escape the crowds for an hour on the canals. However, line ups are very long so I'd recommend going early - most canal tours start at 10:00 and are all the same price.
