There’s no city more European than Brussels, Belgium. The capital of the European Union (as well as Belgium), for many Brussels is the byword for bureaucracy. This is unfair though, as Brussels is more than politicians and men in grey suits. It’s also a beautiful city, full of gothic and baroque architecture summed up by the Grand Place, Brussels’ UNESCO World Heritage site central square.
