Parc du Cinquantenaire (French for "Park of the Fiftieth Anniversary", pronounced [paʁk dy sɛ̃kɑ̃tnɛʁ]) or Jubelpark (Dutch for "Jubilee Park", pronounced [ˈjybəlpɑrk]) is a large public, urban park (30 hectares) in the easternmost part of the European Quarter in Brussels, Belgium.
Beautiful park, good cafés and restaurants right outside. I was there on a very hot day, but it was still great to visit. There are lots of trees to walk or stay under when it is hot outside. Easy to drive to from the highway as well. Couple of nice museums in the park to visit.
I have been living in the renaissance street from 3 years and this park is the best in summer... museum, good for joggers, football etc... most of the food festivals happen here. including the recent NATO summit.
Gorgeous, grand, without compare. I've never seen anything like it. Clean and well laid out. Truly impressive with interesting little features all over and definitely used by the local public. Well behaved off leash dogs were nice to see. And, when I went, the fall colors were especially pretty.
Nice, quiet, large space in Brussels. A good place to sit and relax in a relatively peaceful area in the city. Interesting history and some very impressive buildings and structures. The car museum at the site is also worth a visit for anyone interested in automotive history. Takes a while to walk there from the downtown area, but the walk is well worth it. You can go via a couple of parks and the European Parliament, which are all along the way.
Wonderful park in Brussels with impressive historical buildings, containing a Aircraft museum. Many events take place throughout the year. There is also a running track and sports facilities. I loved it.
Awesome park. Even though I've never been to Berlin yet, it's what I imagine the Brandenburg Gate to look like in terms of size and feeling of wonder it inspires. Definitely a place to see. Go to the Museum of War and get a panoramic view from atop the gate.
Very nice and green park, and the Arch/Gate of the Museum is very impressive, with huge statues! It's better than Berlin's Brandenburg Gate :p
Nice park in the centre of Brussels, right by the European Institutions. Small, not adequately sign posted dog area however the rest is lovely, well maintained, plenty of places to sit (on the grass or on benches) and enjoy the few days of Belgian summer.
Beautiful park where anything good can happen! So many nice events are organized here all over the year! Moreover you can enjoy for a walk, a run, do yoga (when weather is good). There are also three nice museums ( the Autoworld, the art museum and the army museum)
Nice park close to the center of Brussels. It's a big park, with lots of room for walking, biking, running. There's a triumphal arch in the middle in the park. Next to the arch there's a military museum that offers free entrance. In the museum there's an elevator that allows you to access the roof of the museum. The roof of the museum offers a nice view of the area.
Top place. Really good and the air museum has lots of thing that is worth it to see. And the entry price is really good.
Really nice park with some impressive XIX century buildings built to celebrate 50 anniversary of Belgian Independence. Quite nice place ro spend some time in Brussels
Breathtaking views of the memorials and lovely park!! Lots of free parking (surprisingly) and access to museums was very clear. One of my favorite sites in Brussels.
In my opinion this has been the best park of the city, nice triumphal arch and fountains. Supposedly you can go up via an elevator and have an overlook of the city but we did not find it! Perhaps it was closed as it was a bank holiday.
Huge park. Nice place to spend 3-4 hours. Good place to jog and also relax. Very well maintained greenery. No place to hide in case of rain. No special games for small kids but bring on a cycle for kids or a football and we can leave them to play safely.
Nice walk, temple of human passions a must see. A safe relaxing feel Good excercise area for running, football
Bit more out of the way but still easy to get to via metro. Very close to European Commission. Pretty but not that big. There are a few museums which are ok.
Favorite park in Brussels, great for jogging chilling during the summer months. Also a spot used for festivals and events, dog walking and so pretty with the snow!
Very beautiful area surrounded by gardens on both side. Easily approachable by underground. There’s also a vintage car exhibition hall.
If you feel like going for a workout it's perfect. If you feel like just seeing something historical and old I suggest this park.
Just an open space with a few benches, some alleys, and some trees here and there. People cross it to go from one part of the city to another part. What I recommend are the 2 museums, the huge automobile museum and another one. It.s nice to spend sunny hours reading or just laying on the grass in the park though. Enjoy! ☺️
Very pleasant area to enjoy a bit of sunshine and fresh air in the middle of the European heart. Plenty museums and gardens and a beautiful harch of triumph full of charm.
