Such a beautiful home of Horta. I was so amazed. You have to be there to understand, pictures are strictly forbidden to take and everyone should respect that rule. Totally worth the visit if you're a interior and art lover.

Fantastic place sadly in the hands of a really rude staff. And how can a museum shop have a minimum limit of 10€ for card purchase when every bar and kiosk don't have one. This without even informing about it when you buy tickets from across the room for 10€ each.

Incredible place to visit. Usually have to wait outside as the number of visitors is limited. But it is worth it. The place has been restored to look as much as it was originally. The space and the stairs are amazing. Only downpoint: no pictures are alloud.

Very nice to see Hortas amazing house for a jugend lover like me. The only trouble is that you need to put everything into a locker (even your smartphones and cameras since its not allowed to take photos) but they won't take any responsability for the things you put there. So think twice of what valuables you bring. But the museum is absolutley worth the visit!

The museum house/office is amazing, but the way the visit is organised, of rather not organised, is not ideal. There are no indications about a suggested route and only a few signal with the rooms names. Considering this, trying to follow the indications on the flyer provided is a real challenge... One other thing I've noticed is that, in order to have the facilities to accommodate the museum, such as the ticket office, toilets, etc, they've gutted the house next door only keeping the facade. Even though this is a common practice in many cities to protect the streets character and the heritage of some historical buildings, I consider it to be a wrong approach. This is especially doubtful when we're talking about a museum dedicated to the house of an architect. I can't help but think how he would probably disagree with such an decision...

I was a bit disappointed y this place. It opens in the afternoon, check website for details. There is a limit of 45 people inside at any one time. They could do with better signage inside and make the brochure reflect the path through the building. But the building is very interesting, reflecting the use of iron and natural light, with lots of detailing in the fixtures and fittings. Horta was similar to Gaudi in designing both structure and details of buildings.

Lots of Art Nouveau architecture in Brussels, but not much of it is accessible to the public. This is the house of the most prominent master of the style, beautifully restored. Spectacular!

Very beautiful house, unique architecture. The house was the home and workshop of Horta himself. I recommend reading a bit about Horta beforehand to enjoy the visit and immerse yourself in his universe. It is not in the centre of Brussels but worth the visit! There are also a few cafes around.

Very beautiful and very much worth the visit. The wait can be long (we waited 40 min on a Sunday, 3pm), so don't go too late

The visit was great however the user experience was awful. The information signs were all mixed up making it hard to read about each room of the house. You're not allowed to take photos.

So beautiful ..signage needs to be better ,I would reduce the numbers of people inside ,and open up the spectacular rose garden, but even so , to experience this interior is moving

I've visited the Horta museum twice this year, once on my own and again with friends who were visiting Brussels and simply loved the museum. Yes, photos are not allowed inside but that's pretty much the only (minor) downside. Every floor and room of Horta's home is simply beguiling. Everything is extremely well preserved and the museum is a must see, regardless of whether you're an Art Nouveau fan or not!

Exceptional architecture and interior of the 20th century by Horta. Is a must for people loving Art Deco.

Wonderfully preserved museum of architect's style and catologue of work. Concentrates moreso on his own personal home than other projects. Would be nice to see more original work in the studio.

Beautiful museum, defintily worth a visit if you like architecture or art nouveau. Staff was so kind and knowledgable (in French at least)
