Curtea Veche (the Old Princely Court) was built as a palace or residence during the rule of Vlad III Dracula in 1459. Archaeological excavations started in 1953, and now the site is operated by the Muzeul Municipiului Bucuresti in the historic centre of Bucharest, Romania.

Beautiful little church we stopped at before dinner, which is still in use. The night we went I'm not sure if there was a special event, but lines were out the door and it was packed inside. Worth it to stop by and check out the interior.

Beautiful little church, still in active use. I almost felt bad going in as a tourist, although the guy at the door was very enthusiastic about encouraging us to come in and to take pictures.
