Lake Cișmigiu is a lake in the center of Bucharest, Sector 1, in Cișmigiu Gardens. The lake has a surface of 29.500 m², a length of 1.3 km, a width of 50 meters and a depth of 1–2 meters. During winter the lake is dried artificially and a skate park is organized on the lake bed. Close to the Lake Cișmigiu in the Cișmigiu Gardens is the much smaller Lake Lebedelor, which is reserved for water birds.

A big and beautiful park near the center of Bucharest. During the summer you can go with the boat on the lake and during the winter there is a skating in the middle of the lake. Here you can find anything and it has public toilets that are not very clean though. The big advantage is there is a Mega Image near the park where you can buy drinks and enjoy the summer in the park with a cold bear. I highly recommend it and go during the summer!

By far my favourite park in Bucharest. It's not the biggest but it's located in the city center and it offers beautiful winding alleys with through a great diversity of trees and shrubs. It's basically a mix between a botanical garden and a park. There's also a lake and boats can de rented to enjoy some time on the lake. Inside the park one can find a multitude of cafes and terraces to stop for some refreshments. During the wintertime an ice skating area is organized on the lake.

I grew up going to this beautiful park. They have cotton candy and popcorn and fresh fruit juices in different stands along the way. The boats that you can rent in the summer are a lot of fun and overall I love this park.

Beautiful place for a walk or playing for kids. Many benches and places to sit. A small lake inside the park you can row a boat in. Clam and nice place.

Quite easily one of the best parks of the city. Beautiful lake, skate park during the winter. Flocks of tame, friendly pigeons to feed. They love wheat by the way. The con is? No bikes allowed.

One of the oldest parks of Bucharest. It's surely the most popular and the biggest park from the central area of the city. You can rent a boat and sail on its lake. Very good for kids. Temporary exhibitions are being organized there on special occasions.

Very beautiful park with navigable lake (using small rowing boat). The second biggest of the city with playground for kids a lot of WC. Clean and very quiet. Perfect for biking and for jogging or even to bring out the dog. A lot of place where you can buy drinks or snacks and a lot of chair.

Excellent place I like this place very much! It is really fun for the kids and even for the adults and also relaxing. Sometimes it can be very crowded (especially during kids' holiday), but even so, it is a nice place to visit.

beautiful large and free entry park. a lovely lakeside bar which has great and amazing range of cocktails. So beautiful and scenic, it's hardly a surprise it's considered one of the most romantic parks. Plenty for adults, families, children - nobody is really left out. And of course, it's free entry - so great for any and all budgets!

If you are first time here in Bucharest you must visit this park. It`s a must see. Very nice! It was build on Carol the first monarchy it has a huge artificial lake, in winter you can ice skate and in summer you can rent a boat. There are a plenty of restaurants and nice places.

Great place to be, the most beautiful, elegant and romantic lake garden in Bucharest. Perfectly located close to the old city center. Some terraces available on the lake shore, plus the Library bar and Monte Carlo restaurant (good for weddings). Boats can be rented even by beginners (water level is only 70 cm). Century-old trees with impressive shapes, sizes and variety. A big playground in the middle of the park. Poet Eminescu's water spring, peacocks, swans and ducks in the warm season, statues and on some Sundays in summer - a brass band (fanfare) plays in the center kiosk.

Old park, nobody taking care of the cleanliness, swans are beautiful yes but they are behind a fence 10 meters from the water so for taking pictures is not ideal. Good for retired people and walking your dog. Not for anything else

A beautiful oasis in the centre of Bucharest. A good sized park with many trees to sit under in the shade, a large lake to cool off by or go for a row in. Lots of kiosks to buy drinks, ice cream and snacks with a couple of cafés/restaurants to eat. Some interesting architectural aspects to catch the eye too.

This is not a park, this is a garden. It's a decent place to walk about, and you can bring your average-sized dog with you, and a baggie of course. This is one of the oldest "parks" or "gardens" in the city, and was designed, implemented and improved upon by a bunch of foreign park experts only history cares to remember. Overall, it has this kitsch feel to it that's hard to wash. Or maybe I just like bigger parks.

An extremely beautiful, romantic regal and artistic park, close to the National Bucharest Conservatory University (where free classical concerts, recitals or plays occasionally occur from the students). Full of gorgeous trees and flowers, along with a collection of various species of free roaming birds, with well maintained grounds, benches, paths and statues, as well as with two main restaurants and various other eateries scattered about. Many outdoor cultural performances take place here for national holidays, both official and non. Been here countless times both during the day and more so late at night, it's patrolled and safe as any park can hope to be at night. A gem, close to both the old city center, other restaurants, shops, appartments and transportation in both the ratb and subway lines.

The gem of the city, Cișmigiu is more likely to be categorised as a garden, given all the green area that forms the park. You will enjoy a nice and quiet walk under the great trees that cast a shadow over the main alleys of the park or you can cool yourself by taking a boat around the lake. When you're done with that, check out the restaurants and food joints freshen up and settle your hunger.
